Fisher-Price® Smart Connect™ for Android
This app is trash. For anyone trying to make it connect: force stop the app, turn off Bluetooth, open the app, then enable Bluetooth and try to connect again. I hope they aren't paying their app developers more than they pay the Chinese kids who make their products.
Worked fine when I installed and set it up. As soon as my wife paired he iPhone a new firmware was installed and now it tells I need to update my app to the latest version. I am currently running 2.1 and to my knowledge there is no newer version available. Please fix ASAP!!! Using Galaxy S8 Update: functionality has been restored as of 10/5/2017 Update: App no longer works as of 12/8/2017
Worked great for me - the app discovered the rock and play right away and was able to control it with no problems
Extremely invasive app. Wants permission to everything under the sun for a simple utility connection to a Bluetooth enabled device. Don't understand why a formidable company such as fisher price doesn't seem to be paying better attention to the user's input and reviews. Poor attempt to infiltrate the young and technically inclined parental massive.
Terrible interaction between the app and our rocker. Must manually re-pair frequently to be able to adjust timers. Reading reviews, this is very common. Will be warning friends and coworkers away from this rocker. If they are looking for Bluetooth connectivity, then this is a bad option. If they don't need to control from a phone, then the rocker is overpriced.
Can you make the timing of mobile and sound longer for Smart Connect 2-in-1 Projection Mobile? Currently they can be 45 min and 1 hour longest respectively. But can you make them longer? Our baby wakes up when they go off... Thanks.
The app is a waste of space on your phone. Every time I open it up, I am asked to turn Bluetooth on even though it's already on. So in order to make it work, I have to turn Bluetooth off then turn it back on again. It's a big disappointment.
Have to uninstall. Says disconnecting rock n play even when I am a foot from it. And won't let me change settings. Completely worthless. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and now it's just says not connected. I've tried turning it off and tried repairing it but it says not connected, or need to pair. I get the Blinky green lights and it changes to not connected.
App is paired, shows me current settings but won't allow me to adjust any settings. Why did I pay more $ for the Smart Connect if it doesn't let me adjust volume/speed/vibration?! This app sucks!
Love this app when it works, but connecting to our Rock n Play is difficult. I'll get stuck in a cycle of "Can't connect," "Connecting," and "Disconnecting" which doesn't always result in a "Connected" status, and the process seems to never end. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason as to why I'm able to connect some days and not others.
Used to work great, and recently does nothing but crash every single time I attempt to use it. Very disappointing.
My wife and I use this for the mobile. It's pretty nice, except for two areas, one of which might be related to using Galaxy S7's, which is that connectivity seems to stutter and drag on when we initiate a connection. The second, which is strictly within the app, is a lack of a disconnect option. We use separate sleeping areas, with different schedules, but inevitably, she will have to come in to my room and turn off my phone's Bluetooth so she can connect, or if the need comes up when I am on the late shift, I risk the wrath of the dragon to sneak in and fiddle with her phone to achieve the same thing. I would happily give this the full 5 stars if there was a disconnect option on the next update.
It's asking to update the firmware.. I've tried a few times now it never installs. I have the 2 In 1 mobile and the app is always crashing. So frustrating. Im always disconnected from it so I have to go manually turn stuff on which wakes up my kid. ????
This app used to work on my android, now it just displays what settings the rock and play is currently set to but I cannot modify them on my phone at all standing right next to it. Have uninstalled/reinstalled it and unpaired/repaired device as well as checked my phone for updates. Great rocker, however I purchased for smart phone functionality and this app is 100% worthless .
Almost never works. I have to restart my phone every time I want to use the ap or it won't connect to the sleeper.
Hard to stay connected. I keep having to uninstall and reinstall the app. I love the concept, and I love it when it works, but this app is a little ridiculous.
Worked at first like everyone else. Rock n play is great but bought for the app. Get with it FP

It's a great app when it actually wants to connect to my 2 in 1 projection mobile. Sometimes it will connect and other times it won't. It works every where in my house when it wants to.
App says someone else is connected.evenrjough there no one here except me that knows how this app...and can update wcrap
It's not compatible with Google pixel...
Useless, waste of money
Complaint: worked fine when I set it up day 1. Then my wife paired her iPhone. Her version prompted her to install a firmware update to the pack n play. Okay, great! But now my android version cannot pair, stating its out of date and a newer version must be used. Another instance of a company focusing on one side of the market
App used to work but doesn't anymore. App tells me that it is out of date and I need the latest version. There is no newer version or update available. Customer service must not care or read reviews. I cannot use the app to control my rocker.
It works fine. Kind of a cheap attempt at the internet of things but it does the job. The permissions are invasive as hell and I highly recommend turning that ish off in the settings as soon as you install it. Why does it need my browsing history, or my call records, or unfettered access to my media? LAME
App connected at first. Since the last update it won't connect at all. I could have bought a cheaper rock and play if I didn't want this feature. That's obviously not the case. Feeling kinda ripped off...
I keep receiving an error message on the app: "Your app is out of date..." however, I have the latest downloaded. Clearly an issue with the app. I own a Samsung Galaxy s7
It doesn't matter how many times I've tried to pair this device with my phone, the app doesn't work. It's paired...but the app says the rock n play is pair with another device which it is not. So pointless.
Great app! Got it connected right away to my sons mobile. Only problem was I couldn't fix the volume but after an update everything seems to be working.
Horrible. I bought this based off being able to use the app. Fix the app!!! Going to return the rock and play otherwise.
Connects and then disconnected. Will not stay connected for more than a swcond. Tried force stop and un-installed the app and re-installed still to no avail. Very disappointing. Galaxy 6 and husbands Galaxy 6 edge.
PLEASE FIX THE BUGS. I recently purchased a deluxe rock n play, have been super excited to use it and it's great except the app. Can not actually connect because it says my app isn't up to date. Well it is.... My baby is due October, I'm hoping it's fixed by then.
Doesn't connect since the update. Very frustrating. Baby keeps waking up because i can't get it to connect to change the settings. Please fix!
Once you update the firmware with an iPhone. The Android app becomes completely useless. Don't launch updates for one platform and not the other. Now the device only works with my wife's iPhone. It's completely useless.
Please fix, all ways says it needs an update. Is it really that hard to fix, been this way for months.

I have a soother and mobile and have had issues with the app from day one. It's pretty frustrating as the purpose for the app is to stay clear of babies sight. I have to be right next to it in order for it to work. And that's if it works after closing the apo two or three times too see if it'll finally connect. It has been a complete waste of time and I'm pretty disappointed. It would be great if it actually worked properly!

This app easily downloaded onto my phone, synced up nicely and works well aside from the fact i cannot control the volume from my phone for my projection mobile, everything else works. And i cant figure out what the hell the "sound sensor smart messages" option is or what it does? But please have the obvious glitch fixed so i can control the volume via my phone! Overall pretty impessed. Put my baby to sleep in under 10 mins
