It works great for me n my mom, everytime she sends me money I get it that same day, same for when I send money to my mom. I'm not sure why people are saying that it don't work. Maybe because they r not using actual bank accounts. I don't think it works for a pre paid card. U have to have a bank account with a real bank. Learn how to use it. Read the rules carefully. I give 5 stars.

First time, takes 3 business days to transfer from same bank using account number. Second time, failed to verify because never received text or call verification code to my Google Voice phone number. Confimed with my bank they can text me using their mobile banking feature. Will take another 3 days to return the money to sender because of failed verification. It's better to ask sender to go to branch to deposit money. AVOID POPMONEY AT ALL COST!

Takes 4 days to transfer funds. Read all the other reviews--it sucks. I could mail a check to someone and be done with it quicker than this stupid service. Should be called molasses money-- "when you need to send someone money quickly, and want it to arrive 2 weeks later!"

Popmoney works great for me but the app is not intuitive. I just sent money to my niece and she received it immediately in her account. We both used the debit cards attached to our respective checking accounts. No problem but you do have to understand how the system works.

Don't use anything that says Popmoney because it is an unreliable service that will ultimately snarl any payment and tie up your funds for weeks! They're so awful, even California had to take action against them for holding customer's money hostage. This is just a middleman company that charges fees for no reason. They make PayPal look like angels.

An absolute nightmare. Doesn't work as well as Venmo. Support takes DAYS to resolve anything and they want to charge a fee for transactions? Don't waste your time with this one and use Venmo like everyone else.

That app is very subpar. Takes forever to send money. Even the desktop version is over-complicated. One step after the next to simply transfer money to your payee.

To say that this app is GARBAGE it's actually an understatement. It doesn't recognize a valid address and that's just the first problem I encountered when creating the account let alone use it. Save yourself time and aggravation do not download this trash.

Haven't been able to get onto my account in weeks. Can't get in contact with customer support either and mailbox is full so can't leave message. Worked fine when it actually worked.

One week is too long to wait for a money transfer from big bank to big bank. This service is inefficient.

Clunky interface, difficult set up process across all platforms. Too many problems to list.

Keeps saying my address is a po box so I can't even sign up!

It does send you e mails to fix problems you're having. I've been trying for weeks.

Being forced to use this to pay rent by a crappy landlord. Clearly this app is horrible, just read the other reviews. Go with square or venmo

5 days late on a deposit... don't download this if you value your money ending up where you want it directed.

Good app transfer and received money

Horrible

They took money for an unauthorized transaction tied up funds for several days and charged a fee for an unauthorized transaction and I incurred multiple overdraft charges that they will do nothing about. The app sucks the customer service sucks do not use it's a huge rip-off. This was after they were unable to verify my information I called customer service and they assured me that the transaction would be cancelled. They then took my money and are holding it.

I've tried multiple times to set up an account. Each time I get to the end and it asks if I want to open the app or leave feedback. Either way is a failure because it doesn't capture the account data and password I entered. Again, I tried multiple times with no success getting past that last screen. I checked my log in too and it doesn't exist. Fix this and maybe I'll consider you an option in the future. ☹️ Fyi... I have a Nexus 6p nougat.

I cannot verify my account even though I have used this on my computer. When I called customer service they told me it was because my carrier rejected the verification code when popmoney sent it. That is funny because my mobile carrier is listed as one that works. Scrolling through the comments shows I an one of many with the same situation. I found another comment that identified the carrier and low and behold their carrier was also supported. Popmoney and the devs need to get their act together.

Google voice numbers don't work for verification text. Have to use ur native phone number or u won't get text. Devs need to state new accounts take 5-7 business days to setup and arent ready for immediate use. u cant even use the new account because u have to wait on bank trial deposits which takes days. If you send money after creating a new account they WILL freeze ur funds. Wait until the hold is removed from the account before sending money. Outside of that it workd popularly.

Love popmoney through my bank but they dont have the option in their mobile app, so i figured I'd check out the popmoney mobile app. Adding a new payer on a gs7e shouldn't be this painful. App experience is poop.

1. not intuitive 2. you type in a name.. it takes forever to pull up because it is scouring all my phone and email contacts.. instead of a favorites list on popmoney 3. then when you find the person and phone number to send it to.. you click on it.. then it says no match.. but it has filled their full  name in.. but not the phone number that was attached to . 4. you hand input in their phone #.. send it. But if you try to use same number again.. it says # already assigned

Just signing up was ridiculous. You have to scroll back by month to put your birthday in instead of just typing it! Holy crap if he scrolling back for a half hour just to get to the year..... By month! Smh.....

Like, this is the worst app ever created and a complete waste of time to the extent that it is literally counterproductive. The so-called security measures that this app takes to ensure some kind of financial security is so stupid that it literally has glitches in which you cannot just simply send your loved ones money without running into dumb problems. Just simply set up a PayPal account and be done with it. It is much easier with no hassles and it is literally clear cut. Go Pay Pal.

The app fine. It's just really slow and lagging. Fingerprint login would be great. Very basic app that doesn't include all the features the website has. Great service but app needs work.

I have had no issues. Works just fine. Payment always goes through and is in my account when it says it will be. Small fee but I'm OK with that. If your impatient and rating the app low that's not right. I use very often and would recommend!

Look at the one star reviews compared to the five star. Way too many one star. 1) Very difficult to use. Verified account on web app, did not verify on phone app. 2) When entering someone to send to, too much info has to be entered. It shows people in your contacts list but you cannot click on that name to enter their info, all info has to be re-entered. Looks like it keeps a separate list of contacts. 3) "Message" is required, no need to enter message when folks know it is coming. 4) Would not integrate with my bank (i.e. had to get app). Could be a USBank problem buy, given the clunkiness of the app, I'd say it is a popmoney problem. 5) Finallly, with all the payment options available, and given the difficulty in getting it to work, why bother. I'm a tech consultant. Using stuff like this all the time. This is one I hope not to use again.

I got sent money through Popmoney but for some reason it is proving to be a real hassle to receive it and it is really frustrating to have that happen...too many problems with the app, it is not user friendly either.

I cannot send money online or on the app. It says that the name of the charity I'm trying to send to, could not be found. And I have confirmed that I have the right charity name and everything. And it just won't let me send because it keeps saying the name could not be found. Is popmoney having technical issues for the last few days?

I have tried twice now to register with PM and both times it says it can't verify my account. I called them and they said give it a few days and check again. Still doesn't work. I got this to send money to my daughter in college and it is a waste of time!!

App doesn't work and I know someone is already trying to steal my info because I'm getting new verify codes texted to me... please remove all my information from your systems before a class action lawsuit developes

I suspect that the app may not work with certain Android phones. Mine is a droid turbo 2. The worst thing though is the customer support. Their only recommendation was to use a PC instead. I asked if there was a way to report a technical issue and they said they don't have tech support! I remember now having this issue a few years ago with A Samsung Galaxy S4. So I'm not sure if this app works with any phone or if they are just slow to support new phones. No tech support so no way to find out!

Worst app ever. Doesn't even let me do anything on it. All it says is that it cannot access anything or that it cannot verify who I am. I even tried using it on a completely different phone.

Not able to send money, then put account on hold, and say it takes 2 days to remove hold. Worked the first time I used it and hasn't worked since. Do not recommend!!!!!
