First Bus - Bus travel & times

Just moved to a new place very helpful and up to date

I thought competition was a big part of business, how do you make an app that is so inferior to your competitor's? Honestly this is so bad, app crashes every 5 minutes and most of the time the servers are having a meltdown, do you host this on a raspberry pi? New Version: UI looks good but this is a bus-time app, BUS-TIME app. The bus times are incorrect every morning.

Brilliant modern app with real time tracing up to date features and times.

Useless. Asks for your region to start. You add that then search a route number and get results for the same number nationwide. When I live in Essex I couldn't care less what buses are doing up north. All I wanted was the route and what time it would be there. Impossible to use.

Bus due in 5 minutes changed to 8 min in next sec. Later it changed from due in 5 min to due within 1 sec. This was whilst having perfect internet connection. Missed bus, late from work. This happens regularly. Also, live times in app not in sync with live times in bus stop whilst having perfect internet. Come on, what's going on? May be better off not using the app at all. But the buses are often 15 -20 min late. So, wait 2x20=40 min in bus stop every day? Half my life. Come on, 21st century.

Useless app especially m -ticket at times your purchased tickets dont even show up as active tickets after 6 days into the purchase. Also when your ticket expires doesnt give another option to buy another ticket you have to re fresh. Silly app you need to work on it being such a big company. Eveything is now through apps. first bus is very back dated.

The last update fixed a lot of issues. The favourite stops are much easier to do now, and you can pick out individual stands in stations. They listen to feedback and the app itself is extremely useful for me. I think a lot of user problems could be down to people not knowing how to set up the app.

I love this app, I find it easy to navigate and usually much more accurate even than the display screens at stops. I don't know why it doesn't have better ratings! Maybe it functions better for me because I'm in a major city? Who knows!

Great little app, smooth interface for easy to read times making it a great little travel companion. Its a shame I have to download a seperate app for the ticket to show the bus driver. A "I'm catching this bus" button would be cool. The app could remind me when the bus is with notifications in 10 mins intervals? Overall great little app, 9/10 for the mticket app.

Unbelievably inaccurate. Misses off a number of bus routes at my local stop even though they are operated by themselves. When I search for the route number it doesn't show it. UK Bus Checker is much more accurate. This app, and the standard of their bus service, are in line with one another - dreadful.

Far to much work to find out bus service times. If im at a bus stop, i want to quickly open the app and it will give me the service numbers. Doesn't display this and when using search facility, it brings up service numbers from all over the uk to search through!! Whats the point? Thw app knows which city i am in but still ahows uk wide services. Rubbish app

Not too bad but missing essential functionality. It's great if you need to see what buses are arriving at stops near you. It's useless for trying to work out when a selected bus will be arriving at a further bus stop on it's route.

Let's me know when the next bus is due. Not certain about the accuracy of the info but it seems ok.

Awful, times are wrong, frequently crashes or can't connect to the server, ui is dreadful and confusing. Having this app will more likely make you late.

Insists I set my region before I start, and won't set my region. Lookslike a server is down Just put the data into the app so I can use it offline

Installed this app but doesn't work over 50% of the time. Won't open today at all! Bus due times haven't been upto date either saying they are due when they are not

Added timetables by redirecting to pdfs on the official website. Seriously?! Problems in the real world persist - the timetables are way too optimistic to reflect the usual trafic situation and forget about the transfers suggested by the app. Impossible

It would be alright if all of the routes and times were actually listed. The service I use regularly hasn't been accessible through the app for several months now. It makes planning journeys that much more time consuming, because I don't have the actual schedule.

Location and route plan great (It's Google maps transit layer). Paying for ticket requires different app!? Opening installed different app doesn't complete transaction for selected route, terrible user journey experience.

Most of the time it works, allowing you to find out when the next bus is but not always and it is very annoying when it shows you live time of 2mins to then to jump to 15mns just go back to 2mins

Would be good if it didn't keep missing buses off that are known to go to the bus stop you search for. Have to resort to using the website as it seems to not have this issue - amazing how the data used there can't be utilised in the app

Rubbish, I live on a road with a bus route, that particular bus does not even show up even when the app knows my location. Would rather walk to a stop and read the times.

Can't even select region. That's the first step so I couldn't even open the app. Never ever buying first week pass again. Guys use stagecoach. Forget this useless company who just put prices up

Brilliant app helped save me a couple of times by seeing bus due ???????? so went to next one and got on there just on time as would of missed bus if wasnt for this app 5*

It says a bus is due and your still stood there 30 mins later if your going to do app at least be corret on the bus times

Not intuitive, messy to find your way round, scheduled times are way off. For a major transport provider this is a very disappointing app.

The bus times don't change quickly enough and doesn't delete old tickets despite asking to after 7 days

Downloaded the app could not enter region kept saying there were technical difficulty try later.

Buses are always late and never on time when they're late they don't show up as due put change to the next bus

Thought "UK travel app is getting so unreliable timewise perhaps the company's own app might be better" downloaded it and there were server issues so I couldn't even start it. Will stick with the other then....

App work ok, just a shame the actual buses never turn up on time or at all....

Technical issues needs to be fixed. But it's the only one that does not crash

Purchased an Additional ticket,it deleted the other unused in date tickets I had!!!!!

Absolute nonsense. It's not the easiest of apps to use.

Much improved since it came out works great everyday up in Aberdeen.

Its great it has given me the times for the bus i want ever time
