FirstBuild for Android
Connected right away from my Pixel.
Keeps trying to update, locks up and is no longer usable. Note 5. Overall not to happy with my paragon, app has been one of the big down sides.
Only option on android is to add paragon.
The app worked until I setup a schedule. After that the app never would find my opal again. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it did not help. I do love the Opal Nugget machine. The ice is perfect.
The iOS version does not crash. But this one does with both Samsung Galaxy S6 and Nexus 6p.
It very frustrating to fool with
My phone can see and pair with the Opal directly (in Android Bluetooth settings), but this app scans over and over for minutes and never finds it. I even went into Android to "forget" the device, thinking maybe it conflicted with the app trying to find it, but the app still just scans and scans. I have a Nexus 6P, Android 7.0.
Previous versions were buggy and would crash often, but now, it simply will not function on my Droid Turbo 2. Upon pairing my Paragon, it attempts to update the cooktop, but the progress bar freezes at 0%. If I try to bypass the update, choosing ANY option in the main menu causes the app to crash. It's been behaving this way for a couple of months, now.
This used to work, but has recently stopped. I can still connect to my Opal and manually control things, but when I click to enable the schedule, then close the app (or even go back a screen), then reopen my Opal, the schedule is no longer enabled. Please fix this issue.
Ugh! Never worked on my Droid Turbo (Lollipop), nor my LG tablet (x815, on Marshmallow). And now it does not work on my new Pixel (Nougat) !!! On all, the app downloads and can see my Paragon. But NONE of them can see or program different foods & times -- as Promised! "Works on All devices"?? Ha! Called Help many times and the final response was "well at least you can still cook with the Paragon - just can't use the app" Thanks a Lot ! ______ Gave it one last try - It finally connected, THEN it wants to update the app. GUESS WHAT! It NEVER updates! It shows 0-100% but never gets up from "0" !!!! What a disappointing app! What a waste of time and Money !!!
Paragon pairs fine, but all tries to update firmware but only locks up. Doesn't work on Nexus 6p or 5x. So is totally useless. It had one job and it completely fails at that.
Ordered ice maker in may for b day present and delivered b4 Christmas so Christmas present... installed app and worked great so far. Yay for rabbit turd ice maker! :)
Latest version doesn't work with my Samsung Galaxy 7. Crashes almost immediately after opening. Earlier version worked great. Please fix
Can't connect to my machine anymore. I'm too old and tired to work around and reset. Now I'm stuck on a calender that I can't change. Needs an update!
Never connected to my HTC One M8 or new 10. Opal itself connects to the BT on phone, so app issue.
It just continues scanning, never finding my Opal. Why offer something if you can get it fixed after this many complaints?????
Samsung S6 pairs fine. Turns light and ice on/off fine but programming is useless.
Works as advertised. Can schedule ice making. So far so good.
Works great with the Galaxy S7. You can dim the light, turn on/off and even set scheduled ice making. LOVE IT !!
Very buggy. Multiple attempts required to connect to probe. Multitasking crashes app. Does work if you are patient and leave the phone on the app.
Using the quick recipes more gives you more flexibility.
This app won't work on either my LG G3 or Samsung S4. It connects to the device but after that if you select any of the options it just crashes. At least the cooktop can be used manually.
Can't install. This app is intergal part of using the Paragon cooktop. I'm disappointed. LG phone.
So far works great, using for first time. Easy to set up.
Love the paragon. App functionality is great
I have the 1st Build probe paired to my GE Cafe induction cooktop. I need this app to use recipes, control/monitor remotely and check battery status. However it's not configured for that product.
Would not start.

App works flawlessly with my Opal Ice Maker.
