Quick Ledger

At last a simple app! Have spent ages looking for so called simple spreadsheets or ledgers but all come with colours and categories and ads and more ads and and and... This one is exactly what I want, a simple way to add and subtract my own figures under a few simple headings, it is perfect. Thank you too the developer of this, I think the main challenge must have been to resist adding bells and whistles!

Great little app for keeping track of sales and expenses for my small mall kiosk business. I have all my numbers easily accessible at any time and don't have to bother my accountant as much any more. 1 small problem tho is since I downloaded it onto my new phone the debit part at the top right is partially covered up by the ledger. also would be nice if there was a way to backup and transfer your data when you get a new phone. Great app tho

Exactly what I need for tracking credits and debits for a club. Very easy to use. I'm giving 4 stars because I can't see a way to export the data. I'm willing to accept any format: file save, backup/restore, csv, print. I'm going to use it any way and if I ever need to produce a report I'll worry about it then.

Let's you track every penny. Would give it 5 stars but the app makes putting your ledger's in a specific order almost impossible. Still this is HANDY! I RECOMMEND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT IF YOU WANT TO MONITOR YOUR SPENDING AND BALANCES

Overall a nice app.. But they need to add the option of exporting or sharing the ledger information through email or whats app or even upload it on google drive. Just in case the phone is damaged, there is no way to store the data..

This app is mind shatteringly awesome, I actually want to throw some money at the developers. It's simple, efficient and light. It reminds me of the unix philosophy, does only one thing and does it well.

This is simple and exactly what I was looking for. The only thing lacking is a way to export or email the ledger. Also if there was a way to login into on your computer access your it would have been perfect.

It's good so far but I hope that it would give me the option to choose whether the normal balance is credit or debit. It's confusing when I have to debit Cash whenever I spend cash on something instead of crediting it.

App is awesome with all its eye pleasing Templates. Just try to add feature of cloud backup in case phone gets lost or stolen

It's concise, simple, to the point, and very useful. I love the format and that you can choose colors for your different accounts. Took a bit to figure out how to incorporate my deposits and withdrawals (credit is deposit and debit is withdrawal), but now that I have, I love it. So nice to have a little ledger right here on my phone. Highly recommend!

Good app, but with it had a way to login and track across all devices including computer. Also , I'd like to be able to arrange entries on the same date as I need to . I would like to be able to search for transactions by date, amount, or description. I'd like to be able to categories transactions and view them by date range. I would like to have individual or selected ledgers be able to be shared for collaboration between myself and others. An example is that some of my ledgers are for money tracking between individual family members or friends. I'd like for them to be able to see my ledger and me see theirs while still having our own to be able to coordinate and have accuracy. I'd be willing to pay good money for an app with those features. and more

I just needed to keep track of some transactions and this works perfectly. The only thing missing is a way to print or share the file.

Nice and simple. Two things missing that would get it 5 stars - 1. Ability to link each ledger for easy transfers rather than having to manually enter each one in each ledger. 2. Make it so I can enter description along with amount rather than making me go back into each transaction again. Both these items would SAVE A LOT OF TIME and would validate a 5 star review.

Maybe it's just me but all of my transactions are out of order, and when I set the date it sets that date for the whole ledger. And I tried to fix it after looking at the FAQ, and still could not get it to work. If that could be fixed I would give it 5 stars

Fast and easy to use. I wish they had an option to add the name of the transaction at the same time. Also, would like the pin pad keyboard to show up instead of the full keyboard when inputting amounts.(option in settings fixed issue)

I wish this app would let me order the ledgers so that I can put the ones I'm most interested in seeing first. Also, if I could update/add start balance/budget after creating the ledger that would be helpful.

Ledger sorting by dragging works intermittently. Cannot set currency per ledger, only globally. Spacing between transactions is too tall, have to scroll loads when many txs. Not sure it backs up data offline? Looks neat though.

Having to double edit entries, wtf is that all about, add a cost, then tap on it again to edit information to remind one what the cost was for. Why can you not do this when you add the cost to begin with. This isn't quick, it's a pain in the arse. I need a ledger not a calculator. Uninstall

I like it. If your looking for something simple this is it! Easy to use easy to keep tack of funds. Would have given 5 stars but I don't like that there's no password lock to keep out nosey girlfriends or who ever.

The larger the individual ledgers get, the longer it takes to open... We're talking almost ten seconds. Gives the appearance of lagging. Each individual entry needs to reflect the specific balance after that entry was inserted. It's the nicest ledger/register I've seen so far, but.... I'd like to see some options to change the color without changing the icon. So far it hasn't recognized the same description when there are previous entries.

I have tried others and never managed to use them much. This app is very simple. Keeps record of dollar amount only not store or spending type making it very quick and easy to use.

This app is great for keeping track of all of your accounts, I use it daily to keep things straight. I do wish it had the option to program in recurring expenses though.

The Amount field doesn't use the number keypad, really (GS6, 6.0, Google Keyboard)? Otherwise not bad, it could use repeated transactions, transfers and a 2nd line for description. Sort is also different every time I open the ledger.

It's a pretty useful app, especially when my generation doesn't write checks. It seems to keep a running total of your credits and debits. One improvement I would like to see is the ability to toggle the running total so you can keep track of your spending per week or month. Another handy feature would be the ability to link a ledger with another one so if you debit one ledger it will automatically debit or credit another one simultaneously depending on how you set things up. Works great on gs5.

Have only been using this app a few days and so far, so good. As with others, my only complaint would be having to go back into every entry to add the description.

I like that I can enter "pending" auto pays so I won't forget and over spend. I do agree about not being able to rearrange the item order, tho.

Good concept and nice layout, but not usable with current issues. When i go to edit the transaction detail it changes multiple enties and deleted multiple entires.

As of now the app reorders much of my transactions. Problem is that I need to have the transactions in a certain order, and the app store reorders them incorrectly. All I ask is the ability to break down transactions down by time in order to properly order the transactions.

Very Good app but could not find any backup Option... So waste for me.

Theres not so many bells and whistles as other apps that make the others tedious.

Simplicity is key for efficient daily use, this app makes keeping track of daily spending a breeze. Especially for those people who dont have time to enter a bunch of information just to keep a running total of their daily spending. The app also has the ability to input every account, budget or bill you want to keep track of. Many ledgers icons for what you want to track, e g. Food, cash, house, auto, etc.

If you were just looking for a "check register" app this is it. It's simple and effective and doesn't get in its own way. After going through 15 different check book apps, I can tell you that this is the simplest and most effective of the bunch..

I need to export a CSV report to my accountant. A few additions that would make this app awesome This is just a small wishlist :-) csv export of :- date, amount, description.

I can build exactly the accounts I need and no more. Includes credit/debit, date and description. No ads, no worrying permissions, and a nice clean look. Thank you!!

Exactly what I wanted in a register, but after a few months of entries, slows down noticeably

Help needed.. The app in itself is very nice as it helped me in maintaining all my transactions, but it does not have any feature to sync the ledger to any online account or something in case we ever need a backup, and if there is I couldn't find one. Now I had to format my phone for some reason n I have lost all my transaction details. Is there a way to recover my data ? Or if anyone can tell me the directory where the app stores all the data so that I can go for a recovery. Thanks

It is simply, with no invasive permissions required and no ads! Multiple ledgers make it easy to create and manage budgets on your phone. Tip: when entering your debit or credit amount enter a space and text in the same field to create a description. Great job to the developer.

Only suggestions are: ability to set automatic alphabetizing when adding new ledger names (Should be available in settings); ability to get total amount of all ledger balances at bottom of ledger, and; optional ability to password-protect this particular app to open and access information. I HIGHLY recommend this app for all informal ledger needs! If I can send a donation (especially if these suggested refinements are made), please provide information where/how to send.
