Libre+ Email for Android
Unfortunately, the only way to bypass the corporate pin or password is not to use the stock email application. Libre is a fully featured E-Mail app based on stock Android Email. However, while being identical to the standard Android Email application in every other sense, and while maintaining the exact same look and feel you are accustomed to, it doesn't force any server security policy on you and allows you to make your own conscious decisions on which method to use for protecting access to your data.
---
Features:
- Includes all the features that stock Android email application has
- Works with any Android starting with 2.2
- Will sync calendar and contacts data with your stock calendar and contacts, (these don't need to be replaced).
Installation:
- Delete your email accounts from your old stock Email application
- Go to Settings->Location & security->Set up screen lock, and disable or set up the locking method you prefer
- Start Libre and set up your accounts. If the server requires security policy, Libre will notify you and will allow you to chose to bypass it.
Important:
Using Libre has a potential of creating a huge security risk for your personal and your organization sensitive data as the program allows you to bypass security policies set up by your system administrators. The application is provided as is, by downloading and using it you assume complete responsibility and risk for any damages or loss caused by using it. If unsure, please do not install Libre and continue using your stock Android Email application.

Force close on Xoom and Droidx2. Does bypass security. But unusable. Too bad. Sent multiple bug reports. No response.
"Error this server requires features your phone does not support"... I know it does, I bought Libre+ because it claimed to ignore server policies. FAIL.
Account gets lost on phone reboot (SGS2, 2.3.4). Exchange address book is not supported.
Poor customer service. After setting up account it loops into setup again. No response to my email. Would not recommend.
Great client!
Program force stops every single try. I've cleared data, rebooted my phone and re-installed the app and it always crashes. The seller has not replied to two requests for a refund. DO NOT BUY!!!
It does allow you to bypass the annoying pin or password at start-up. E-mail accounts set up pretty easy, BUT, when I upgraded from Libre to Libre+ I lost the accounts I had already set-up, and lets face it, it's no fun setting up those accounts all over again just because you go from the unpaid to the paid version. Also, there is no option to delete the e-mail from the phone only. You delete an email and it's gone from your computer inbox. If I've missed something I'd like to know, but this is what's happening to me.
Used to work fine on my old phone... Won't create an account on new one... keeps looping thru account settings. Please fix.
At the final step of setting up email when you click "Done" it reroutes you to start over again to add an email account.
Works great on my Droid Bionic. I hope the updates will be in sync with stock app from google!
HOW TO FIX FORCE CLOSE Install and set up libre email AND libre+ email. Use 'app quarantine' app or something similar to freeze/lock/quarantine libre email. After this libre+ should no longer force close. Tested on droid 2 and 3
"Setup could not finish" "This server requires security features that your phone does not support." Samsung Galaxy S3 Model number: GT-I9300 Android Version 4.1.2 Please support or refund
keeps looping back to the setup screen after I complete the setup.
I have set-up my account several times now, but the application keeps forgetting my credential. It also keeps force closing the Exchange services when I want to sync. Especially calendar seems to be a difficult one. In it's current state it's not usable for me. (Asus Transformer TF101, 3.2.1)
So far works great no more pass with my corporate email haven't been able to get my calendar to sync yet but just happy with out having to put in a 8 digit pin with caps and...
Install just loops. This doesn't work.
Error: This server requires security features your phone does not support. Useless... I have sent the error report to the developer.
I paid $.99 for this app, installed it on my Galaxy S3 with Jelly bean 4.1.1. I had exchange configured on this device already and wanted to bypass the password enforcement - hence installed this app. The same configuration did not work for Libre+. I entered the same server setting information and i was unsuccessful in configuring email on my device. Emailed the Libre+ support, never got a response. Seller does not refund your money, the seller did not even acknowledge the request.
The app is unable to store the account details I enter, thus making it totaly useless.
crush all the time, don't buy it!
Crashes, some issue with access to calendar DB (format?)
Crashes all the time, never got it working . Wasted money
No longer syncs calendar and contacts. No updates for a long time. It was good while it lasted.
as advertised but doesn't allow me to compose a new email. Also, pressing the menu button while in the app causes FC.
Cool app, now I can finally use pattern unlock on my Droid2.
