Guitar Tabs X for Android
I'm really happy with the five string banjo tuning that was recently added as part of an update. Definitely download this app - the more I use it, the more fun it is!
Simple to use and exports to PDF so I can share arrangements on my youtube channel.
Everything is alright but is there any function to put capo..if yes pls help me
Love it. Very useful.
How do you do semi breve notes?
Does everything I need it to do :)
Fantastic, simplistic, VERY intuitive interface, but lacking 2 guitar tracks. Otherwise, miles better than guitar pro.
I like it, but I wish you could make multiple tabs on one sheet to make something like a duet
This app helped me finish a song I've been working on for over 6 years...it's pretty awesome. My only complaints are 1: that the bottom row of buttons are incredibly easy to miss, especially when switching back and forth the options. 2: you can't change tempo anywhere else through out the music. And 3: there's no option for triplets! Other than that, this is quite a fun tool. Though, if i could suggest one thing...is it possible to group a set of bars/measures for quick referencing for riffs?
This is a really good app, with a lot of potential. Out of some of my recommendations are to: Improve the sound of the playback of tabs. The guitar could be improved, and possibly having clean and distorted guitar selections. Edit: Also, add the ability to make certain notes palm mutes, pinches, and bends. As far as I know I can only make each note plucked. Other than that this is a really solid tab app.
Works great! Wish it had whole notes as an option, but still absolutely impressed with this app. -update- as suggested I got the whole note to work (add "let ring" to all resting notes) This is a 10/10 app. Well worth upgrading to pro!
This is an absolutely awesome app and im so happy I found it. The best part is the fact that the app plays the tab so its a must have for guitarists. Only one problem it doesnt have a slide feature
Its missing some things such as muted plucks and harmonics but it works well enough for what it is. At first I thought it would be cool to be able to set custom tunings but it actually has a lot of them built in. If you just want to write down an idea you don't want to forget while you're out somewhere then this app is great!
There is no way to notate pinch harmonics, or harmonics at all for that matter. Even if you can't add a way of notating the location to pinch, just a marker would be nice. In addition, the print is quite faded when printing from the PDF export, but that could just be user error. Otherwise this app is great.
This is one of best guitar-pro-like apps on the market, with an intelligent design, many useful features and a fast way of editing notes. The sound is ok to review or rehear your writings, and the ability to export your tab as a pdf-file is just genius. Try adding more tunes and maybe 7-string tunes. Keep rockin' m/ Thanks for the app! :)
Nice app. Easy to use and a decent list of features. One I can't find, that i suspect it not have, is the ability to add a muted note (i.e. plucking a dampened string). Seems like a weird omission.
Great app. Love the app. I wish it did Hammer ons and pull offs and had different distortions and tones. Great for when you're far from an instrument and have a riff or two in your head and want the perfect pace.
Really cool. One thing: the timing is a little too "smart" I can't set triplets that go over eighths which is really annoying. I can't write down three of my songs because of this. I'd like to be able to set the timing for each note entirely independent of the others. That's the only thing. Thanks
Seems like an awesome concept for an app and therefore would love to give this one all 5 stars... If it actually opened and ran on my LG K7. Uninstalled. :/
This app is rather easy to use and having a pocked tab editor comes really handy, although more notes and rests would be nice, and more features and a sheet music way of writing too, also, a way to write strumming patters; that said, it's overally good
Amazing for writing original tabs although its not easy to use. I'm still trying to figure out timing
The app is worth a shot. However, I have rather a question to ask....Has it got any option for customised tuning?
I like this app a lot but I have trouble with giving my songs a name and can there be more features like pinch harmonics etc? And add in a setting that you can switch between electric and acoustic guitar.
I almost cried when I found this application...
Perfect in every way. This is for the musicians who have knowledge of the theoretical side. I don't. N I bought this cos it said beginner. I make some of my own jams N I want a place to save the 1s I've learned N 1s I've made. I do a lot of pulls N hammers. How tf am I suppose to know what symbol represents what? N do any of them even represent those?! Why can't you upload a how-to interface OR put some / for slides p for pulls h for hammer ons etc. I don't get it...
Works great for right out the songs. Fixing up timing, and sharing with the band
Great app. A little disheartened that I can't export the tab though
Awesome, but how do you export as PDF? It only says "to MDI" thank you
Best app I found to edit and create my own tabs 10/10 I would recomend.
It's saves me on paper but there are no whole notes, no way to overlap multiple tabs , copy and paste tabs, or delete segments quickly, or any way to signal slides, hammer on/off, etc. I'd be willing to throw a few dollars towards the developer for that upgrade.
Great. But!!! Update it can make multiple tab in 1 song
The app doesn't have a feature of adding pitch harmonics, half-step bending and whammy bar, not to mention the server doesn't have a browser. If you fix it all I'm definitely willing to give it 5 stars.
i love this app. so easy to use
It sounds horrible. The notes aren't even correct
Great editor. Most easy to use
Is there a capo option. Also how do you put hammer ons/pull offs?
It's simple enough to use and gets the job done.
Wish there was a setting where you can choose different tunings like, drop d etc.
Would be nice if I was able to manage and remove tabs that I accidentally uploaded from the server. But other than that handy app

I spent an hour writing out this tab that involved sweep picking.... i saved it.... twice.. Literally 2 seconds later i changed the theme to "dark" and now the tabs are gone. The app isn't clear about how to access your previously written tablature. So i just wasted an hour of my life
