Fine Bass Tuner is a chromatic tuner designed for bass instruments that allows you to quickly and accurately tune your instrument using the built-in mic in your Android device. Features nice and clean interface allowing you to quickly find your pitch.
The Fine Bass Tuner is a version of my Fine Chromatic Tuner that was adjusted and designed for bass .
I believe that it will work with any low to mid range instrument as it was fine adjusted for the 20 Hz - 300 Hz.
This is automatic chromatic tuner that supports every screen size. Fine Bass Tuner works well with devices supporting 44100 16 bit audio input (almost every phone and tablet in mid - high price range) and 22050 16 bit audio input. It still works with the other possible settings but not so accurate. If you are a bass guitar player you will find this to be the best bass guitar tuner free app. It is designed to give the most accurate tunig for the low frequences and your bass guitar or other bass instrument will sound just in the right way.

It's absolute garbage. It will jump over so many notes and you can barely find out what note you're at. After five minutes you'll be tuning by ear. Waste of space on the phone

Whether you're playing music as an amateur, pro, or just to show off in front of high school girls, TUNING IS ESSENTIAL. Playing along with the stereo, tv, in a band- be it an audience of 1 or 100,000- they can tell if an instrument is in or out of tune IMMEDIATELY, and which one it is. The desire to be in tune isn't anal retentive, it's COMMON SENSE. The ONLY instrument this doesn't apply to is AIR GUITAR. This app sucks. Fix it or pull it, and for God's sake, GROW UP.

Alright so a lot of people in the reviews are bitching about this app. 1st off; if you actually care and want your bass 10000000% accurate, you WONT BE USING A SMARTPHONE APP!!! 2nd off; go someplace quite. Everyone is bitching about background noise, it's your fault if you're in a crappy place to tune..... Great app, gets the job done, don't listen to these retards who don't know how to use a tuning app.

Great app people who give bad reviews should know better than to try and tune their bass in a place with noise as long as you tune it in a quiet place you'll get great results.

A little sensitive and required cautious turning of the screws. That said, a little patiencewhen tuning and this is a good tuning app!

App listens to entire audible spectrum, and doesn't filter at all. Thus if there is any static or background noise, or even mic feedback, tuning is TOO delicate. To improve they need to smooth/filter frequencies outside a reasonable bass tuning range. As it is, I can't even begin to tune a Low B with this pile of wasted code. Try elsewhere.
