FindPenguins: Travel Journal + Instant Photo Book

Overall we are very pleased. We love the ability to create offline to upload later. Unfortunately it is buggy when taking photos, especially if you change orientation during the process, and it sometimes loses photos.

Incredibly simple and powerful, great for blongging and staring with family and friends. Will be using for all my future trips!

Excellent app. Fun and easy to use by both the user and "followers". As we are not on Facebook we found this app great for sharing our travels with others. The quality book , which can be ordered at the end of your trip, is excellent. Have recommend this app to others, who are currently using it, and they have recommend this app to others too.

I like the app, its pretty easy to use. I have not upgraded to Premium so can''t compare the basic and premium

I searched for a long time to find a decent travel App. This must rate as THE best App. Easy to use and plots your locations on a map. Being able to share via WhatsApp, Facebook, or e-mail is great. And the best feature of all is being able to compile it into a book which you can then order for your treasured memories

This is a great app - very easy to use and was a great way to let my friends and family know what I was up to when away - just wish it could be used offline on a lap top - would have been handy to be able to prep blog posts for upload on the laptop and then upload when I got WiFi access

Like how you can post both pics and videos on the cloud so your family and friends can keep up with my adventures. Easy to use and easy to upload.

I am enjoying using. Could you put new created trips at the top of list or at least make the default trip for posting new footprints. Thanks!

I like to write a FEW words and a FEW pictures to friends and family who are interested in my journeys. Relatively easy to use.

Like this app so far, although I am sad to see that Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England are just bunched up as the UK.... I'm Welsh and very proud of that fact, I like to count the other countries in the UK in my country count.... Any chance this could be changed?

We've been using this app pretty much every day for a year to record our journey through Europe. It is brilliant already, but keep getting better with new features such as the ability to upload videos, satellite images and displaying a photo on the map. We'd definitely recommend it to others!

Well designed blog site for both mobile devices and pc/laptop. Blog 'footprints' can be viewed by account users and non-users alike. Blogs can be private, friends (with account) or public. Full-size Pics download can be a bit slow. Any number of footprints can be created, so limit of 6 images per footprint can be got around by adding more footprints just for pics. Most ideal addition would be italic text for emphasis.

It is a great application and I enjoy using it to share my travel moments with my family. I really like the ability to say a few words about a place and 6pictures are a good limitation that makes me realize that sometimes less is more. The only downside is that to discover to which photo someone leftva comment I have to look at all photos with comment, as the notification doesnt open the photo automatically but sends me to the footprint only..

Great app. Used it for the first time on our trip to New Zealand. My only minor point is there seems to be no way to reorder footprints when adding new ones at a later date. However they appear in the correct order when viewing the photo book preview. Highly recommended.

Brilliant

Amazing app! Would be even better if you could view your entries in a calendar format. Video uploads would also be a nice feature. And landscape mode would make using the app so much easier. But still the best way I've found to share my adventures with my friends back home so 5 stars!

I won't use the aap, because uploading images is limited to 6 pics per footprint. I also miss the option to upload videos. The UI Design and Experience is nice.

best travel blog app I've seen. beautiful design with no effort for the user. and i like the fact that it limits you to 6 pictures per entry, so you don't spam your followers and take the time to actually make a good selection of pics. makes for the perfect travel diary, too. I've ordered the print books also and was very happy with them, even tho the $50 is not cheap.

With a little bit of discussion and patience, issue with notification was resolved. I enjoy using this app and am hoping that notifications can be generated easily.

Ein paar kleine Features wären dennoch nützlich (meckern auf hohem Niveau): 1. Videos hochladen!!! 2. Drap & Drop Funktion bei Einstellung der Fotoreihenfolge 3. Distance-Anzeige zwischen Foot-Prints 4. kleine Anzeige des Zeitraumes bei der Tripauswahl (sollte jedem freistehen, so muss man nicht den Reisezeitraum in den Namen eintippen) 5. Auswahlmöglichkeit, dass man die ältesten Fotos eines Trips zu erst sehen kann. Es wäre toll, wenn ihr diese Kleinigkeiten einfügen könntet! +++ BESTE REISE-APP +++ Fazit: Ladet die App runter Leute, überzeugt eure Freunde & Familie und blickt KOSTENLOS auf eure unvergesslichen Erlebnisse zurück :) p.s. man kann sogar ein Fotobuch mit einem Klick bestellen

Match almost my requirements. It would be nice to have in one of the next version a kind of travel guide .

I hope next update the upload of the photo is one time for all of the pictures not one by one. And please maximize the photos per upload that we can share. 6 per post is not enough. But I will use this because it's super helpful. I would give it a thumbs up for our fellow diver and traveler.

This is an excellent app, and FREE! Hopefully it will stay free. I've not come across any other travel blog app that comes close to it.

I find this app the best way to let friends and family know what we are up to on our holidays. Plus in years to come we will be able to look back ourselves to remind us of the great times we had.

Easy to use. I particularly like the ability to import location and time from my photos, so I can snap photos and do my entries later. I hope that soon we will be able to upload short videos. Great app.

This app is masterpiece. Totally deserves more recognition.

Data trawler

Everything is good except you could only add 6 photos max. Is there any way we could upload more pics? Apart from that, if u could include a way to auto arrange the uploaded pics and convert them into a small travel book or a short movie etc. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, the app is easy to use and quick navigation as well.

After looking at a lot of travel diary apps i finally found this one and its just what we needed! UP: Easy set up and to add posts, inc travel map, app works offline, website so readers dont have to download the app and its free for unlimited uploads. DOWN: only 6 pics per footprint (10 would be great), it would be awesome if the distance travelled is calculated and if linking more than 1 Facebook is possible for people that travel in couples/groups. ;)

Very decent app. But I miss one major feature voice feeds. I like to type less and dictate more. So there should be an option to add voice memos with your posts and snaps.

Love this app! Tried it after another travel blog failed. It's great, Wi-Fi isn't great where I'm travelling and yet no issues when uploading blog. I had a problem with photos not working, I got 10 emails back and forth within 24 hours from findpenguins to problem solve the issue and it worked. They're great.
