If you want to setup a script to monitor something, and either can't or don't want to go through the IT processes in your company to set it up, then this app is for you.

The app registers itself with the Google Cloud Messaging service when it starts for the first time. From then on, from within the app, you can build a url which can be called from any monitoring script that needs to send you an alert.
