Cinema FV5 does much more, why isn't FiLMiC pro available for the Huawei p9?
Disappointing.
For all the buzz about this app so sad I'm using a Sony Xperia so-01g every time I shoot a short it locks up and I have to restart my phone... As for the opinions not a lot like I get on the cinema FV-5 really would like a refund but ooo well hope they get there act together they should look at what Cinema Fv-5 have done and at least match the opinions.... Last if your going to pay for one buy Cinema Fv-5 much better for the money...
I really held out hope that this app was going to be the nirvana of video shooting apps. Turned out not to be as great as I was hoping. The footage I shot in 720p at the max bitrate available was sharp and clean, but the frame rate was only showing as being 15fps. I've shot at varying bitrates, with the same result each time. I am using the app on an LG Gpad, and don't have frame rate problems with other video apps. I am using a Lexar Class 10 MicroSD card on my GPad for video storage, so this should not be a problem...but it is, apparently from this app only.
My opinion on this is very neutral, however, one very small gripe I do have with the app is that of the icons for focus and exposure on the screen. The overall presentation and layout of the app is great, but these icons are of poor quality for some apparent reason.
Finally a video app with audio input! That is wonderful. However, your photo trimming function is ridiculous. No time on the video playback AND no time on the trim makes it impossible to get a proper trim. Fix that and get more stars. Also, the settings let me select external storage, but finding the files is nearly impossible without searching through multiple folders.
I just purchased this and the exposure reticle is missing as soon as I start it up. Am I doing something wrong? I am using on a Galaxy S5. Giving 1 star until fixed
Not very good. Option are limited and it tends to crash a lot
I use this app on my iPad Pro. I really like the 4K option and 120 fps option. That is the only reason I purchased this app for my Samsung Note 4. I really wish I would have known this wasn't supported. Will not use at all on my Samsung unless this changes
On my 2015 Moto G, 1080p footage looks distorted, if I set it to 720p it looks fine but I can't change the resolution anymore unless I wipe all app data
Continuous autofocus not working on my Sony Xperia z1
So what happen with the zoom feature and the lock exposure as well as the focus lock is messing up . I need this fixed on the Samsung Galaxy S 5 Active and the Samsung Galaxy S 6. This is hurting my filming .
Sometimes it's nice to have higher quality video capabilities so I wanted to buy FiLMiC. I picked up plus version because the pro version only worked on one of my phones. However, I was very pleasantly surprised. This app does everything I wanted it to. I'm happy I chose it.
This app isn't fully compatible with the BlackBerry Priv with specific regard to the exposure settings not working. I will keep the app in the hope that they release a fix. Otherwise, great app. Cheers.
It simply doesn't work on Huawey P8 Lite. The video plays CHOPPY!
1080p, 720p, just crashed immediately as I started. Will I try to film lower than that? No, I'll just take back the money, you take your download back. Can't believe I even temporarily got this for $8.
The only thing i like about this app is how smooth the zoom is, other than that FV5 has all the features my camera supports when filmic says it doesn't support them.
I need an app to get a constant framerate for editing, I set it to 30 ( which had no asterix) and the result was a vfr averaging 15. I'm on a motoG third generation.
Cannot record. Certain options lock up the camera or it is black.

I bought this on my ipad, I the bought the "plus" version because it was described as the Android only version. I then find that instead up upgrading users to Pro, they just created another app for 8 quid. I feel really deceived.
