Fifth Third Masterpass

Android Pay is an industry standard. I have nothing against the way this app was designed or developed, but there is no need to reinvent the wheel and require customers to use a proprietary application. I would feel more secure using a highly-adopted solution.

Literally every big digital wallet app has fingerprint scanning instead of a pin number, such as Apple Pay, Android Pay, and even Samsung Pay. How come you guys had to go with Masterpass instead of Android Pay and leave all us Android users in the dust?

Any particular reason you shunned Google's Android Pay for your own version? They've even done all your legwork in marketing and promotions... Just seems like a bad financial decision for a bank to ignore free stuff.

Why waste the time and effort to make a digital wallet that bound for failure? Google Android Pay and Apple Pay are tried and true. Give us Android Pay!

It worked OK for about 5 transactions and now fails to connect in stores where it worked previously. I know it's not my device as Android pay works with my CC just fine.

Just give us Android pay. This app is still terrible.

I had no issues downloading the app and adding two 5/3 cards. I have used it once with no issues. The only issue I have with this app is you can only you 5/3 cards. Android pay allows more option for credit cards.

I SIGNED UP AND IT SAID TO CREATE A MASTERPASS PIN NUMBER AND I TRIED TO AND IT SAID ERROR REPEATING NUMBER.PLEASE DO NOT INSTALL THIS APP

If I could give it negative stars I would. I can't use this anywhere. It always declines the transaction when I try to use it.

This app is awful. Why can't we just use Android Pay?!?!

Can't even login to set up a card. Runs me around in circles and winds up on a pin screen I can't get out of after it tells me my session timed out and to login again. What a waste of time.

Scam. When I sign in, I request them to text me the code the site is requesting to identify me but they never send one. Bunch of bull!

Needlessly difficult to set up. Once it is, works about half the time or gives an error. And very unnecessary since we have android pay.

Don't waste your time and money by creating separate app. Just Allow Android Pay.

Not supportive on my samsung go through setting it all up. Go to use it . Then it tells not supportive on my device.

So 5/3 must not work with Android Pay because they're trying to push their own app. How about just adding the feature to the main 5/3 mobile app.

Tried to set up via the app but get to point where you have to call customer service who tells you that your card is pending verification and they can't complete until it is finished. Really?

You want to be with the latest trend of NFC pay? Awesome. Missing standard features that are common with other banks or even smaller ones? Not awesome. You forced android pay to not allow me to use their app to force me to use your own? Then you release an app that's inconvenient in almost every way possible.

I get myself all happy because I can use my card without getting it out of my wallet, just to find out that tap and pay is not supported on the LG Stylo. I will not give this a good rating until my issue is fixed. If it can't be fixed, please explain why.

The only reason I chose to open an account with them (5/3) was because one of their reps told me they supported Android Pay.. well I try to set it up and it wasn't supported, and now they release this garbage as an alternative. I'm probably going to close my account and look for another bank, not because Android Pay is necessary, but because they lied, promised support, then offer this instead.. horrible

First of all, you have to call to authenticate your card. Didn't have to do that with Android Pay. Secondly, you can't use loyalty cards which makes the app useless. The whole point is to make transactions easier. This app makes you have to pull out your wallet anyway to use your loyalty card. Android Pay was ten X better and easier. Now I have to go back to the stone ages and swipe my card the old fashioned way.

It's way to slow to be more effected and Time efficient than the chip reader and that is the whole purpose of having the app is to make it faster, time efficient, and less hasle than pulling your wallet out and using the card itself. So there for I believe the app is just a waste of spaxe on the mobile device and there for useless untill proven faster than the older way.

Android Pay due to it being built into the OS, has extra security cheks in place that a standalone app can't have. This app is horrible. Get with the times and allow Android Pay. If not I'll find a bank that does.

Thanks for making all us Android pay users wait for you to stick it to us by releasing this hot garbage. No fingerprint support either. Thanks again for supporting apple pay but not Android pay. If I didn't have my mortgage with this bank, I'd drop it in a heartbeat for a bank that actually does what it's customers want.

Tried using it for a week. Failed everytime. If you really want tap to pay, switch to one of the over 390 banks that allow Android Pay. They understand that this is the 21st century, not the 19th or 20th century.

Downloaded just to give a bad review. All I want is to be able to use Android Pay. This has none of the features other apps do.

Requires a phone call? And then there is no option in the automated system... Oh and the call center is currently closed. Forget it... Also, no fingerprint security? Please just let us use Android pay or Samsung pay. Oh and it doesn't let us use it for an access 360 card. This is ridiculous.

What was wrong with Android Pay? This app is unnecessary. Seriously considering switching banks to one that supports Android Pay.

Solicited me through email then made me call to verify my card number. First person to answer wasn't able to activate. Then I was put on hold. I hung up and now removing the app. Very poor.

Can't activate card since no one there know about it. About to switch banks vs spending 6 hours on the phone to find someone that can help but will just hang up on me.

No fingerprint id, pin every transaction, no tap to pay. Just get with the times 5/3 and use Android Pay.

Drop this greedy cash grab and allow me to use my cards with Android Pay like I have been doing for years.
