Jo-Ann for Android
Remember the frustration of having coupons mailed to you but you forgot them at home and now you have to pay full price for the item you dashed into the store to retrieve? Great news!!! With this app, you will always have your current coupons with you. You will find it very convenient, also, to know what is on sale and when. Win - win! :-)
I used to have the app on my phone and it wasn't very good... many improvements have happened, and now it is vastly better than before. UPDATE 2/14/17: The app is now more than a link to the website; it has links and abiltiy to search for what you need.
A lot of ppl complain. But I have no problem. I go in the store with app open. Ready at check out. Coupons or great. Just seems to have the whole store on sale..that's when I buy..other stuff. Did you know you can use both coupons, on phone and in mail coupons?
This app always sends misleading coupon offers. Even Michael's offer an IN STORE coupon of some sort! 2nd time I have embarrassed myself trying to use a coupon
This means I've never left my coupons at home and they can be scanned directly off the phone. It has saved me a lot of money.
My favorite place more than fast food or pie and ice cream love fabric sewing they help with. Any problems need people to stay at cash register when the line gets long people get upset they have to Waite only one cashier
The app gives constant unwanted notifications. There doesn't appear to be a way to opt out or turn it off. I can get coupons by googling when I'm in the store. App isn't needed and more annoying than its worth. Deleting it.
I'm hopeless with paper coupons. I usually find them crumpled in the bottom of my bag months after they've expired. I love having them automatically available on my mobile phone. No more expired trash. And to top it off, the friendly cashiers at my local store just scan my phone and I'm on my way
Coupons are great. Just find the text message prompts annoying. There may be a way to turn it off I just haven't figured it out yet
Great app, but I am not seeing any way to customize app behavior. Specifically, coupon notifications vibrate and there is no option to turn off notifications or push without logging out of the app.
My husband says that if I don't get to our local Joann store I start getting cranky and have withdrawal symptoms. He is RIGHT! My local store is great, really like all of personal, they are helpful, friendly, and actually notice when I haven't been there in awhile. My only wish is that the store was bigger with more fabric choices. Springfield is very limited on fabric choices, sometimes I have to go online to other stores.
New store in McAllen/Pharr is great. well stocked, easy to find what is needed. Biggest problem is the aisles, they are narrowed by boxes of merchandise and I have trouble getting through with my walker.
Ever since the latest update I have not been able to get it to open. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Please fix. I am unable to get coupons. I love the store and the OLD app. Will give more stars when I can use with no hassle.
My only issue is that old bargains and sales stay resident even after they expire making looking firfurrent sales difficult and confusing at times. I keep my app open all the time. Love it
I love the app. The only thing is that it is a bit slow. When I open it takes about a minute for the home screen to pop up. As I am searching it takes a while but not as long as the start up.
Well. It goes without saying that Joann Fabrics is my favorite store and getting coupons via phone app adds to the joy of shopping. So convenient and helps when my husband tries to hide the ones we get in the mail.
1. When I add something to my wishlist or my bag, I don't need for the list or bag to open up. I want to go right back to my browsing, and I can click on the wishlist or bag myself if I want to look at it. 2.The pages take too long to load. 3. When I switch between looking at the weekly ad and shopping, I frequently get kicked out of my account. Then I have to log on again, look at the ad again, and then find the group of things I was browsing. All three items are speed/annoyance issues. Thanks.
The South Florida (Broward Co.) stores are lacking in yarn and cotton thread supplies. There are no stores in the North Dade County, Florida area; I have to travel to Broward Co. to get what I need, which is an inconvenience.
Keep in mind that this is just based on my personal experience. Every time that I go to the store the person at the register tells me about a sale, deal, ECT which saves me more money than the app does such as texting a number for 50% off my whole purchase or going to their site for a special today only coupon.
Megan at the Dayton Mall store in Ohio is the best clerk I've seen. No matter how busy, she takes care of each customer with a big smile. We need 10 of her!
I love going to JoAnns! The only problem I always have is never enough money to bring the whole store home with me. I'm a very big crafter, huge crocheter, blanket maker for my church, and a beginning sewer. They always have what I want!!! I just don't have the funds to get what I want. Lol. This app takes me straight to coupons, specials, and creative ideas. I absolutely love this!!!
Love the Jo-Ann app! It is very handy when you run into the store on a spur of the moment whim and don't have the paper coupons with you. Also highly recommend the text option for getting great coupons!
It's so handy. 9 times out of 10 I forget my coupons from snail mail
Why? Because they have coupons on top of coupons! And if there's a coupon you don't know about, they'll tell you!
I have a very hard time finding specific products. The "search" area doesn't come up for a while and finding the weekly coupon has proves difficult. Could be a great ap as this is a wonderful store qith wonderful deals.
Loading takes forEVER. This is the one serious flaw that needs to be fixed. This is my second review on this app this year. I am seriously disappointed in it. It has great potential.
Many sale coupons are offered however most things are on sale so the higher end coupons are often worthless. The staff are not pleasant much of the time and general attitude seems to be that the unhappy customer is just a bother.
Good stuff at JoAnns made even better with coupons. Love taking coupons on portable device that way don't loose, depending on WiFi at store.
This app is amazing!! I especially love the coupon feature. There's always a way to save whenever I go there and I don't have to remember to bring the mailed coupons.
The app is ok. It's more than I need or want. I only want the coupons for when I actually go to the store. I don't like getting text like notifications. If I could figure out how to stop them I might keep the app otherwise I'm deleting. I don't care for the over abundance of adds via app or email.
I love having the coupons with me all the time! Though sometimes it's not the most user friendly
Easy access to discounts which allows explore my craft; from an idea to to crafting, without leaving me broke. I say THANK YOU!!!
Love using this app on my tablet. Makes bringing up coupons easier. Sometimes alot faster than my phone, in side the stores can be spotty service.
Handy little app and they're always keeping me up on latest deals. Always know when to run over and get my supplies
This app always has coupons to use that are different than the website and emails. Since more than one coupon can be used at a time, it makes it easy to get all my supplies at a great price.
Getting coupons is super easy! Joanns is so expensive so I always wait until they have 50% off.
Needs more details and picture of more products you have to offer. I make frequent visits and only thing use the app for is coupons.
What happen to the 40-50% off coupons. When I first downloaded the app there was a couple every week, now it seems like there all online coupons.
All the coupons and specials texted right to you.....it doesn't get any better!!!

Have been using this app for more than a year and never had a problem with it on my smartphone or tablet. It is user-friendly (as much as any app, with heaps of information, can be on a tiny screen). I unsubscribed from notifications a long time ago because there were too many messages - not sure if that is still the case. That being said, there were often extra coupons in those messages so some may find that a fair trade-off.
