Challenge Journey Tracker for Android
Works perfectly. Well worth installing!
The app closes as soon as you switch to another app (eg if you receive a call). Useless.
I've tried downloading and reinstalling this app multiple times with no success. Take my advice, don't waste your time, just use the website. I've reported this to the organisers and they blamed my phone, which is a HTC, or my operating system, which is android, so no excuses really.
Doesnt work well lost most of my trips
Really simple and easy to use. I thought there was a problem until I realised I wasn't in signal/GPS. After that it has worked fine.
Its ok and easy to use but it can be a bit temperamental when it comes to uploading your journey.
I've walked 7 miles today...but according to this app I did nothing as the gps failed to work. No wonder I didn't win an ipad!
Doesnt work properly
Its ok and easy to use but it can be a bit temperamental when it comes to uploading your journey.
Great design, easy to use, love it. It seems to work well. Have been logging journeys to work this week and has uploaded 90% of them. The couple it didn't I think was down to low battery/ poor signal. It does seem to struggle in areas of poor reception but all in all good.
It just stops recording by itself partway through a journey. Useless.
Was going ok till I had a phone call. Went back to app afterwards to find everything had reset, best to work out all the journey before hand and use a stopwatch app. Then enter the details manually. Will change my rating if they fix
Constantly get message "Failed to upload. Please try again later."
This seems to work fine for me to date to. Nice slick and simple interface.
It doesn't work properly - stops mid journey, does not upload journey details. Rubbish.
It'd be a great app for the 'challenge' if it worked. None of my journeys have saved since I started using it and there nothing to indicate if GPS is locked on.
If not connected to net when uploading it'll loose your journey. Also gives ridiculously long distances - said I traveled 82 miles one evening, when it was actually more like 30. Would be far better taking a feed from something like Strava rather than trying to create a second rate alternative.
