Fieldbit provides an enterprise-grade software platform that combines smartglasses with Augmented Reality (AR) technology, real-time video and cloud-based computing, in order to display relevant digital information on smartglasses directly in front of the eyes of field technicians in hands-free mode.

Fieldbit Hero is an out-of-the-box solution for on-line collaboration between field service engineers, operators and company experts. It allows an expert in the company HQ to share the field of view of a remote technician wearing smartglasses and guide him by providing him augmented reality annotations, relevant documentation and instructions directly to his smartglasses.

Fieldbit Hero includes the following applications:
Fieldbit Hero on smartglasses:
The smartglasses application enables a field technician wearing smartglasses to communicate with a senior engineer or service center in hands-free mode. The field technician can take and send pictures, view documents, get augmented reality annotations and communicate with an expert using on-line video.

Fieldbit Hero on smartphones:
This application enables the expert to share the field of view of a remote technician and send him augmented reality annotations, documents, diagrams and instructions on how to resolve technical issues in the field.

Implementation of the Fieldbit Hero solution requires smartglasses such as EPSON Moverio BT-300.
