FieldAware Mobile for Android
Fieldaware fail and stops when trying to download and open the attachments. That happens with Samsung s7 with latest Android ver 7 software update.
I have used this app for one year it is nothing but problems and trying to get them fixed weeks Couple weeks ago they sent out an update once you update your phone you could no longer put any information in the description box it would just automatically erase itself now we got a new update again the description box is ok but in this task the area you are no longer let you type in your notes You constantly have to uninstall and reinstall program to keep it working and even then it doesn't work half the time if they would test for the problems before they send out the updates this would help a lot
There are too many issues that need to be resolved. This will be a great program if they ever fix those issues!
If app is installed on a second devise, it fails to sync on the first devise. There is also no option to log out so you have to re-install every time.
Always fails to sync and I'm having to uninstall and reinstall at least once a day
Need ability to read job histories (without being an administrator.) Need ability to re-open a job when you need to add something after completing job (again, without being an administrator/boss, because only they can do that.) Be nice if duplicate items could be combined to clean things up. Hopefully update will make it so worksheet attachments don't erase info/disappear completely at random/ when screen rotates.
It freezes ,gets stuck synchronising u answer phone it turn freezes ur solution is to turn off all other apps. When down loading pics it stops saying to report issue have to reopen and start over its about to make me change jobs it is terrible I just got a new phone moto z force I had a g4 it's the app and my phone is always hot have to turn location ,Bluetooth anything not using to run this and to top it all off we have to give phone to Cust to sign us off 1 already dropped it, cracked the screen my phone
How is it possible for this app to be soooooo broken. When trying to adjust time, its in GMT. Not time zone adjusted. Brilliant. Somehow the created times for the jobs are into the future? Tomorrows jobs on my schedule for a week have a "created date" of tomorrow at 2pm so I can't correct my times to any time before that. My goodness. Pathetic..
This app kills your phone battery if you have GPS on. And when I installed it on my new phone it killed my Gear S2. Battery in 3 hours. I didn't use the app for anything during those times
Made for mobile field service management app with geolocation tracking of assets. Can't wait to see the new version on iOS 10

When scrolling through work orders it freezes and does not allow it to move when changing from one work order to another it blanks out to a plain white screen causes batteries to run down quickly has trouble uploading pictures shows the same work order multiple times
Randomly shuts off, doesn't sync
Way better than old ways instant info on projects great
Suggestions, please create a search button, where I can input search criteria like ticket number or customer name or date range.

Searches for gps all the time. In fact, turning on gps will wake the app in the background and begin to acquire a GPS lock (even if you have no active jobs). This is a blatant violation of user privacy. Also, the user interface freezes for 4-to-5 seconds all the time. I would not recommend this app/service for your company, nor your employees.
GPS is always on. Kills my battery more then any other app
The app itself has potential to be a great tool, but there's a few interface issues which could make things a lot easier if changed/tweaked slightly. Also the constant GPS usage kills my battery!
Makes my life harder, and im forced to use it.

Great for any service company
We have been with FA for 2 years. Great software program. If there is any issues, FA will correct the problem. They are very customer conscious.
We use this app in our day to day operation. Fieldaware allow us to track job progress across multiple states. Highly recommend it for construction maintenance outfits.
Work well but would be nice to be able to create a service report for the customer and have a work order for the employee where you have proprietary information and the customer needs get it
Very frustrating having to create several tasks to write your notes as the note section limits to 255 characters
The Field Aware team is very responsive. Sometimes if your Field Aware isn't working right, clear your cache on your phone and it will help a lot.
Make this sync in the background
Wont let me see my customers. Each job says "no customer" But at least I van start/complete jobs and add notes. Couldnt do that two weeks ago. VERY VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! Thanks for leaving me in the dark Fieldaware.
No paying your phone provider or Garvin for a service... Fieldaware gives turn by turn directions taking you to the right spot every time.
Constantly gets stuck and is a memory hog
After the previous update the app started to randomly freeze on the upload/update sequence like when there is no network but without giving the message of "sorry no network..." And sadly it was not corrected with the latest update.
0 support for Samsung S3... :(
I used to like it better but the new updates continue to take control away including setting the start, pause, and complete times for jobs. No better with update. Every update I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it after to get rid of bugs.
Easy to use somewhat buggy great customer support
Love it on my Samsung tablet.

App is problematic. It force closes all the time and support is slim to none. PC version is fine, mobile app stinks
