Fido My Account for Android
Went down to 1 star now. Can't connect with any of my emails or even my phone number. It's like I don't exist. This app is useless really and I think it upsets customers more when the fault is rejected back onto us. Why isn't it possible to have a working app?? Sorry but I'm annoyed.
There are tons of complaints above Fido App login problem but you keep on asking clients to send message through Facebook or Twitter! Could you please ask your software engineer to fix it instead?
Unfortunately, I can only give it 1 Star... because I can't give less. After update, can't log in. The same message "We hit a snag. Please try again later" ... and later the same message... and so on. Wondering if anyone at Fido reads this customers reviews, because judging by the way the app works, doesn't look like anyone cares... I don't download not keep apps that have a lower rating than 4.... So until the ratings goes up, this garbage app is deleted.
Usual garbage from Rogers. Logged in OK. Data = N/A Talk time = N/A The very reason for having this app. But the current bill owing to Fido? That displayed no problem. The old version worked just fine.
App doesn't work on wifi anymore, only works on data now. When I fill out the number and password and click log in, the screen goes blank then brings me back to the log in screen again... No it doesn't work when I try going to Fido.ca it just keeps saying "hang on... we're thinking".
App doesn't work, only works on fido.ca I' m using my email to log in and it keeps having the "SNAP WE'VE HIT A SNAG" message. I even tried the facebook login and doesn't work either. Update on fido.ca...can only see my balance and can't do anything else.
This app is, at least, functional now. It's actually possible to login... FINALLY! (Switching off wi-fi helps too if you forget your password and need to reset it... they will text you a link to do that). It's still cumbersome to pay your bill through the app so maybe they could fix that (MUCH quicker & easier if you already use online banking). Clicking on view bill, payment history causes the app to lock up entirely... MIGHT wanna fix that. Also an option to login with Google would be appreciated as some of us, believe it or not, DON'T use Facebook or Twitter. On an Android based app this should be a no brainer.
I tried the Fido app in January 2016. I could not view data usage at that time. I had not changed anything with my plans. Now, in December, 12 months later, I still cannot do anything except pay bills, plus I can't view anything at all about my home internet. Pity. Edit: It's now March 11, 2017 and I have a new Nexus 6P phone and Nexus 9 tablet and I STILL get 'oops we've hit a snag, try again later'. Unbelievable. The Nexus devices run pure Android. Plus I still can't view home internet info. Been computing since 1977 and I've never seen software from a large company perform so poorly, and for so long.
Terrible app Everytime I try to access my account to check usage or bill it says "Hmmm we're having trouble pulling up your account info" has been like this forever I just use the fido website. For all the trouble we go through being fido customers we should all get the 4gb for $40 Plan!
Along with the rest of the reviews, unfortunately this App gives me the most sign in related issues of any App. Not just other Service Provider Apps but ANY App I have ever used. "We hit a snag" "Something went wrong" I wrote in on FB and to their credit the staff were very kind and receptive. But I still think this is an App issue not a user-specific problem. We can't possibly all have sign-in issues. I know when I was with Rogers we didnt, nor Virgin or Bell. At the end of the day, bugs happen. But c'mon Fido let's fix it. This is clearly very a prevalent issue.
Cannot access my bill or usage and people I talk to from fido on phone cannot help been like this ever since I signed up with fido they said it might be my phones I say fido making excuses

Worst app ever. It always says hmmmm were having a technical problem. Has been like this for almost a year. Fido has no answers.
Everything is too good in this app. But the only problem is that you are not able to see the recent usage, you would be able to see this after four hours.
When trying to log in I continuously receive the message that they are having trouble fetching my account.
Fido treat prepaid cuatomer like garbage. This includes their android app as well.
This app has only worked as intended the first time I paid my bill. Everytime I log on to pay it can never find my account info. Every single time. Ridiculous.

Crashes all the time never able to login and see the account . Works on Fido.ca but every time on the app it says Hmm...
After the last update, login worked. Not being able to get in can be frustrating but give fido the chance because they treat their customers like family and often go above and beyond to and for costomers who truly value them.
Make it more like the Rogers app. Real-time data usage/self-serve data top up option would be nice. I would like to stay logged in, without having to log in everytime. Thank you!

I'm very close to uninstalling this app. Everytime I try to access my account it says my info cannot be retrieved. It's been like this for some time, actually. At this point I feel like it's taking you space on my phone for no reason... Really bad *Trump voice*
App rarely ever works and constantly "Hits a snag" for weeks at a time. Basically unusable Reply: yes. Multiple times as well as with every update. Based on the number of comments this does not seem to be an isolated incident
I can't seem to view my internet bills or link my fido mobile account to my internet account.. I just receive notice of my balance via email for both accounts on the same day in 2 separate emails and can't see any possible way to even see the bill for my internet account... no one working for Fido can do anything about this.... How is this not fixed yet? How do I link my accounts together.. how do I at the very least sign in to see the breakdown of my internet charges?? I'm amazed that this isn't fixed yet, considering Rogers has had this up and running for over a decade and Rogers owns Fido..
Since update the credit card number cant be entered. Always snag, please fix. I use to pay everytime without any problem. But this update sucks.

Barely ever able to use the app. Maybe twice it let me access the amount owed but then as soon as I click away, the same problem message appears (We've hit a snag) and can't exit the application. The other times it either tells me my account doesn't exist or that the app has ran into some problems. Same thing online. Can never check out my bill.
