Visual Voicemail Plus

Samsung galaxy s4, android 5.0 crashes continuously and cannot be listened to as a regular phone call. It only plays the message out loud through the speaker phone. Does leave a decent text message of the voicemail (IF in English) for you to read, instead of listening to it. DOES NOT recognize french words.

On my LG3 prior to July 2016 this app worked exactly as stated. However, since I upgraded to a LG4 I don't receive my messages for hours or even days. I *PAY* for this service; I am disappointed & frustrated. Now this app claims "*No longer offered by Fido*" - then why am I still charged for it?

I wanted to rate it zero stars. Constantly runs and won't shut off. Sucking data and battery life. Don't get messages until days later. Contemplating switching to koodoo based on this joke of an app alone.

This app used to be good.. I'll delete my messages which takes anywhere from a few days to a week to get..then I delete them and permantely erase them and couple mins later they're back and have to do it again.. this is now 3rd time today I've had to delete same messages.. ridiclous

Didn't work at all. 10 calls to fido support later it still doesn't work. Finally gave up. Fido needs to fix this app so it is supported on all Android phones or eliminate it all together .

I never get my messages alerted till days later. This app is horrible. I have to track missed calls daily and retrieve if any messages by calling directly from my phone. It used to work until a couple months back.

Takes forever to actually tell me I have a message. When I know I do and go into the app it doesn't automatically download-sometimes takes hours! Only will play through the speaker-not the ear piece. Never downloads into text like it is supose to! Garbage!

Doesnt work on wifi. I get messages days after theyre left. Have had to install and uninstall many times.

This app only funtions on data and if you turn on your data to see if you have a message after missing a call, it could take a few days to even a week to get the actual message. I work an on call job and literally missed dozens of shifts because of this.

I get voice mail from people that showed up hours or days later. Very inconvenience when you're trying to run a business. My clients complaining that we are not returning their calls.

Poor quality

Dislike. Not recommend. Delayed message alert. Could appear as unread voice mail after several hours or even days after the message left. Can't relay anymore.

New android cx avaod them is App. Its no longer supported by fido

My biggest issue is that I usually get all my messages at once anywhere from 1-4 days after they are actually left. This makes it incredibly hard to look like you have it together when you are always at least 24 hours behind on what is going on in your own life. Pretty frustrating.

I receive voicemails hours to days after the time the caller left them. Power saving for this app was turned off but the behavior persists. After deleting a voicemail I sometimes receive the same voicemail again days later as if it was a new message. Audio plays only through the speaker. The ear/speaker button does nothing.

Not supported on Galaxy S5.. I'm paying for it in my price plan.. please update supported hardware to include the s5.

This app does not actually push voicemails or notify me that I have any. My LG3 is not going to miss it when I uninstall this app.

I keep receiving alerts for messages I already deleted numerous times and when I go back in the app there they are again not deleted even after I permanently delete. Which brings me to my second gripe please PLEASE! CREATE A DELETE ALL OR EMPTY TRASH BUTTON WTF!?! WHO MAKES THIS GARBAGE!?!? And I can only play through speaker so everybody hears my messages thanks fido your app only has one job and still can't do it properly.

If I have an unchecked message, my battery defined at x10 rate and my phone heats up. To add to the mix it will not stop issuing the audio Alert. Please fix.

I delete the messages and after two days messages come back to inbox as if they were new.

Gives me a huge battery drain when i have a message and repeats notifications every 5sec play only on loudspeaker

Needs improvement.

My voicemail will only play through the loud speaker, since Samsung's software update.

this app use to work well for me but ever since i factory reset my device a few months ago it no longer displays the voice mail text, instead it prompts me to press on the screen to download the text but then it just gives an error saying the download failed. app appears completely useless now. and im still paying fido for the service. feeling ripped off

This is crap, uninstalling. Won't sync or download transcription. ***Update causes my phone to text Status 9216 at all hours of the day and only audible via speakerphone ***

Using a nexus 5, there most recent version of the app won't play through the phone speaker... Awkward! Also crashes or minimizes when you try to delete a message. Pretty sad that they can't get this simple interface right...

Rarely syncs and if it does it is hours or days later. Only plays through the speaker.

Only plays voicemail through the speaker phone. HTC One M7. Speaker button does not work.

I always get the same "you are not subscribed" message even though I get allllllllllllllll the visual voicemails via SMS... Is this app abandoned?

Just like Duncan Vincent and some others mentionned, it stopped playing the messages properly since the Android Lollipop update. It only plays through the loudspeaker and only if the sound is maxed out and even then there's so much static in the sound that it's almost impossible to understand anything. If fixed, will go up to maybe 3 stars because it's still buggy, sometimes messages don't come in for hours, etc. I think it bugs when you're on wifi rather than LTE.

Needs major UI overhaul. Or use the integrated visual voicemail that's into android 4.0+. Only plays through loudspeaker as well.

Makes me wish for my iphone back.

I used to LOVE this app.. But it hasn't worked for weeks. I get 2 messages; one saying I'm not subscribed and another telling me service is down and should be fixed soon. However, it has been weeks! Using an galaxy S4. I also hate that the message now plays on the loudspeaker instead of earpiece. I don't want everyone hearing my voicemails. Fix this and you'll go back to being 5 stars again!

Only sometimes works through speaker...and latley hasn't worked at all...I do see the messages in broken English though. Please fix asap. Used to work fine then got messed up.
