Cumulus TV for Android
Crashes constantly and causes shield tv to slow to a crawl. Channels wont load in live channels app until you rescan each time you start android. Great idea, but still has many bugs.
I added M3U playlist and live channels found the channels. It was importing them and when it was done it said No channels added. It happens all the time. I tried everything.
Nexus Player with Oreo. Stuck on "Get Started". Unable to click on check mark.
How do I add EPG from a imported play list. Other than that it works great.
Crashes no matter what I do. I've seen a lot of buggy, bloated and downright BAD apps, but they generally can at least do SOMETHING. This one takes the cake.
Wont load m3us from urls
This really helps fill some of the content gaps for AndroidTV and is a must have. Unfortunately it isn't easy for casual users. It takes a little learning to get setup.
A resounding "OK" Using the built-in channels works fine, but importing and exporting almost always leads to errors on both androidtv and mobile devices. Even attempts at manually importing result in errors displayed as toast messages too brief to be useful.
Developer has consistent updates to keep this working and try and keep the amount of crashes down. Depending on the update, it's on and off in regards to how much it crashes. Some times it won't crash at all, other days it will crash constantly. This app is very welcome to have in the ATV environment! I do wish it supported more streaming formats and I wish all my m3u8 streams work. A few don't work at all but did in the older versions of CTV...
Here is a developer who is dedicated to fixing problems and ensuring we have the best app. Can not recommend enough and wish there was a pro version I could pay for. Heck I'd pay to have access to the new backend early.
So I add a channel form the suggested list, I click Sync Files with Google Drive, , it asks me to Create a syncable file, select a folder, save the file... but created file is 0 bytes, and there is nothing I can do with it? What am I missing? And HOW am I supposed to open those json files in the first place? Why only a "Refresh Data - Cloud to Local" and nothig for the other way around? A few instructions would be MUCH appeciated.
Great app that really brings use to AndroidTV's Live channel app, a must for anyone with AndroidTV
Couldn't open rtsp streams from my network tuner.
Crashes frequently and the sync seems to be a bit buggy still. If you update the google drive sync file, the app on your phone/satv seems to try and sync with it, but it somehow overwrites the google drive sync file with part of the old sync file it was still using. Wish it not only used m3u8 as well. It'd be nice for more types of streams but I'm not a developer and have no idea how to get started.
Crashes frequently. Unfortunately can't use :( edit: downgrading to 1.4.3 works. Edit: well you fixed that in like 9 minutes. You must be some sort of developer God.
This is the Android TV killer app...it's not perfect but it's a great app that can only get better.
A must have if you want to add custom channels. The Leanback interface is pretty good.
Awesome app, works as it should. There's room for improvements so keep updating.
Seems like the app I have been looking for but have no idea how to find m3u8 or hls channels to add to this app. Help please.
easy enough to configure, and an involved, responsive developer. about as good as someone could ask for, really.
This app does what it says. Integrates easily with Live Channel App and let you extend your channels in the app beyond Pluto TV (TED and few others in the future) Nice work!

Would love it if not for the VERY steep learning curve. It lacks a file manager and true youtube integration. I'd love to add playlists from youtube, or build a channel from movies/TV shows on my NAS (similar to PseudoTV on Kodi). Alas, without these features, all the app does is crash.
