No longer working on Nexus 7 2013 - can't seem to get to menu to check settings!

Use to work but doesnt now. Abandonware. No menus or settings available. No fix for long time.

No menu. So setup. No connection

Needs to be updated for nougat

Downloaded for SMA 5000TL. At first wasnt sure of start up procedure but quick email with very quick response explained all. Very satisfied. Thanks.

I bought this app to use on an old HTC. A colleague recommended the app and mentioned the helpful support he'd received when initially setting it up to monitor his system. When I needed some helpful guidance to do the same, it was given promptly and politely. In fact, the best such app support I've ever received. Top marks for a good, useful app with even better customer service. Worth every penny.

Had this app over 12 months now. First installed on a nexus 7, no problems. Now run on galaxy tab 4 10.1 Initially could not find menu bar, but after an email and quick reply, fount it. (Long press on running programs button) Really easy to see panel output to see if I can put kettle on

It was straightforward to get going with my SMA4000TL. Could benefit from help on some settings and algorithm. Would also love ability to use cloud based storage for configuration and data to share info between multiple android devices. tablet but could do with a few improvements

Great app which means I don't need to use PC for uploads to pv upload anymore. Immediate response from support when clarifying setup.

Geweldige app! Ideaal vor het uitlezen van omvormers met mogelijkheid om te exporteren naar pvoutput. Zorgt ervoor dat er geen data verloren gaat en er vanop afstand (online) opgevolgd kan worden. Developer helpt onmiddellijk indien nodig met goeie support en extra mogelijkheden. Geen seconde twijfelen, zeker waar voor je geld!

Edit: Fixed it myself. Seems like the date and time of the inverter were not correctly set.. Using Sunny Explorer I changed two things: - Current Date / Time setting(in the top menu of the application) - Changed a setting that controls time format output in native language(switched it to off). Now everything works fine. Changed rating to 4 stars. 5 star rating requires at least a simple manual and FAQ. Edit: since june 8, it's started logging 0.0C temperature(not V12, but default temp), where before it did not log anything. pvoutput dev says it must be the app. Does anyone have the same problem?

Got inverter to connect but no graphs. Tried upload to pvoutput but that didn't work either .Quite expensive for app that doesn't work out of box. Would like refund but didn't know its only for 2 hours after purchase ? :(

App works perfectly with my sma 3000tl-21 uploading realtime to pvoutput using an old htc wildfire s. Steve is very helpful. He has never failed to respond to my ongoing technical queries and has even helped/offered advice with my system..get this app! - it just works.

I have the app now for 24 hours and it does not work fine. I see a folder /storage/sdcard0/Felix Solar Log/ Import created. As far as i can see it is not possible to configure the app to use the SDCard in stead of the valuable internal memory of the tablet..which is a pity. .. A disadvantage is that you need BlueTooth to see your system before you can do anything with the app. At this moment I am able to see old logging files of Sunny Explorer in the app and to upload them to PVLOG but a manual or help function would be nice. Post script I was not able to connect it to connect it to my Sonny Boy SB1300TL for about 4 days. The app does not return an error when I wrong password is given. It still gives the sign ''connected'' . Because of the troubles I had I think better error messages, better error handling and extended logging ( a file ) and a manual or help would be necessary. If you buy the app remember that it can take a few days to get it working. But when you ask for help you get it within hours. Because of the good support I change it to five stars.

A little tricky to set up, great support and works flawlessly once configured. I have it running on my old HTC Desire 24/7 monitoring and uploading my solar system. Really good.

I have moved my solar up load from a desk top with a 600watt PSU and 14 TB of disk storage to a Google TV dongle mk808B which consumes below 2 watts all the time. My desktop now spends most of it's time switched off. I have been uploading for over four years now with no missed data from an SB 3000tl. In hindsight I would say that it is counter productive to log solar using a PC when there are much more economic solutions available. The mk808B dongle costs $35 and brings with it all the other Google apps and comes complete with blue tooth and a HDMI connector to drive a TV screen. I love it and the very easy to configure Felix software. Dirk Bockmann. ACT.

Latest version reads my sunny boy about 10 times faster. And auto pv output update. Thanks for a great update. Keep up the good work. Havent used this for a while. I'm having trouble fetching historic data older than 2 months. Sunnyboy 4000TL Galaxy S2 running CM11 and Sony xperia z1 compact. Just doesn't retrieve anything between specified dates?

Easy to set up and super support. Does all the things I want (except upload to pachaube/cosm/xively - another enhancement?) - stores the data to Dropbox. Even buying a dedicated Android device makes it cheaper than a Sunny Beam and you can do a lot more with it! Thanks

Hi all.I have been using this app since its inception. Other than a few user errors I have not had any problems. Anything I wasnt sure about was rectified immediately. Excellent customer service. Open to feedback on improvements.

After 3 years of uploading data from my PV array first manually, then using VB scripts, then a Raspberry Pi, I am delighted to have found this treasure of an app! It is so simple to set up and works flawlessly - no more messing about changing scripts and tasks; just log on and it does the rest. Had a query regarding bulk uploads which Steve answered in a matter of minutes - amazing! The app also provides real-time monitoring which is more responsive than my Sunny Beam. Inverter is a Sunny Boy 2500HF.

This is a really good app and connects easily to my SMA STP 12000 however the graph scales dont go high enough for my system so they graph off the page. Not a big issue as there are other history views that show it all clearly. This app works well and is worth the download.

Works first time. Would like to see export to excel feature as future development.

Can highly recommend this app. It works perfectly with my SMA 3600TL and Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. Support from Steve is outstanding. Proves that you get what you pay for.

I installed this to replace the monitoring device for my system when it died. It detected the inverter and connected to it without any hassle at all.

Finally something works

Not only it saved me buying a 300 NZD SMA hardware extension for logging my inverter data, it also runs on on the oldest android hardware, giving it a second live. Felix Solar is now doubling as a real time PV plant monitor and a continuing update instrument to pvoutput.org. I had no need for support yet however, on a thank you email there was a prompt response. Worth every single cent!

I've been using this app for several months and it was excellent until I changed my phone. On the latest version there is no settings tab and Dropbox is greyed out, so no access. I emailed Felix and followed their instructions. All working again. Many thanks. 5*
