DroidTerm PRO: USB Serial Port for Android
This app is amazing, does exactly what I need it to, so I bought the Pro version. Only thing I would like to see added is a shortcut for common things like Control-C (ANSI code 3).
This app will be a lifesaver if it can have some improvements. At work I can plug into our Siemens phone switch with this, but it expects 80x24 screens, and menus get wrapped, and I can't send control+t to login. Also we sometimes need f10, etc, but this terminal makes it very difficult. But out of all of the terminals on the play store, it did get the Siemens talking, which is a great start.
The terminal works well with some serious issues that need attention: 1- I cannot send upper case characters. This prevents entering anything (passwords) with upper case letters. Likewise, control characters are a must (haven't checked that yet). 2- As others have noted, the keyboard gets in the way of what is being typed, so a scrolling region above the keyboard would be helpful. Even limiting to 80x24 to keep the keyboard out of the way of the display would be great.

Connected my Raspberry pi through waveshare Pioneer600 expansion board. Connection and login was flawless. Now I would like to request two thing: arrow buttons in the keyboard so that editor like vi can be used. Secondly screen rotation.
This is a good app. If It allows me to change the font size and use it in landscape mode I'll add two more stars:)
I upgraded from he free version because it's the first USB serial app I've found that actually works and allows you to type in real time (rather than have to prepare a string and hit send as in some other apps) a more flexible way of sending ESC and other non-standard characters (rather than just ansi sequences) plus a way to send pre-defined macros via buttons would make it 4/5 stars.
So far the best Serial console app that is suitable for configuring Cisco hardware, and the only one that doesn't use a text box entry method (that is really annoying) I've rated it 4 start as the one problem it does have is that console text gets hidden behind the keyboard, and this really needs to be fixed (then I'd give it 5 stars)
If U got a clue less then 1 min setup. This App Rocks. Cisco CLI from a USB to a Serial USB to A Console port connected to a Samsung G6. Well Done!!!!
It works great as a console client on my Samsung Galaxy Tab E. My biggest issue is that it only seems to support portrait mode which makes it difficult to use on my tablet with a Keyboard case.
I've used this for troubleshooting Raspberry pi, Orange pi, PcDuino and Arduino boards. I would like it better if the text did not scroll behind the keyboard.

I bought pro version to log current while riding my ebike. The display looks good but the log file is scrambled. My entire rides worth of data lost. Also turns off Usb when screen goes blank more data loss.
