DroidTerm: USB Serial port for Android
Program hangs at intro screen on Nexus 7. "USB viewer" menu item shows that the USB device is connected but cannot type or receive anything. I suspect bugfix is required.
The log files shows corrupted data. Especial characters like end of line are not saved.
This is the first one I've found that works and is fine for doing simple monitoring and loop back tests, programmable macro button support and the ability to send "special" characters (like escape) would make it 4/5 stars. The paid pro version can send ANSI ESC sequences but that is of fairly limited use in my applications.
I dont know wether my phone is not powerful enough or what, but it doesnt show continous data stream, rather its shows some data then stop for like 5 seconds, and then shos some other data, like streaming video on slow internet connection, but anyway its the only serial monitor which works in my smartphone
This app not working for my samsung j2.
Nice!
HELPER HERE FOR USB VIEWER........,
Absolutes useless
Not working with NTC's CHIP
World great, it's a simple but effective serial terminal.
The ads are a little intrusive. That's the only fault I can find, this app is great and allows me to use my Pi Zero on the go!
Excellent application, does what it says.
This is an awesome app!!!!! U're a hard core programmer
This app looks very promising but the one thing keeping me from purchasing the pro version is the total lack of landscape support. It is totally useless on my Pixel C with the keyboard attached.
Seems to work good except for: 1. Needs to support screen rotation/landscape mode. This way I can use it with my bluetooth keyboard on my Samsung SM-T700 (Galaxy Tab S 8.4). Also a must given the USB cable comes out the side when in landscape mode (rather than the bottom). 2. If you're at the main menu, you can't actually seem to quit the app unless you select the "USB Virtual Serial Port" button. Means if you don't have an adapter connected, you can't quit! You also can't abort on the "Connect" menu (eg: go back to main screen).
App crashed and closes when attempting to connect.
Flash 340 though
Simple interface to get started immediately. Works perfectly with a TRENDnet usb to serial adapter, which is then plugged into a crossover cable to configure Cisco devices via its console line.
Brilliant, works with the Ryanteck Raspberry Pi debug clip and a simple USB OTG cable - I did have to type in my login user id first, but after that it prompted me for a login.
This app worth it's weight in gold, very useful for Arduino debug on the go
The one issue is that it does not handle large amounts of data well (>100 limes per second), at least, not on my device.
برنامه عالی برای ارتباط اندروید با دستگاه جانبی از طریق تبدیل usb به سریال

Connects perfectly to device but the program does not allow entering parenthesis , instead it just enters the numbers 0 and 9. This makes it impossible to use with many devices and I'm really puzzled how this bug slipped through. I'm using Android 6 with its stock keyboard app and normal English/US locale. Sadly this app is useless because of this major issue.
