Light Speed for Destiny

To increase your light as quick as possible one of the best ways is to farm Items and Engrams from the Heroic Strike playlist, Crucible or Archons Forge. This companion app has been specifically made to help you maximise the gains made while farming these activities.

So how does it work?
++ Farming ++
1, Start up the App.
2, Play your choice of end game activity.
3, The App will make sure you always have spare slots to pick up new gear.
4, Engrams are moved off to the vault for decrypting later on.
5, Newly won gear can be auto quipped if it will increase your light level.
6, Newly won weapons can also be auto equipped if you choose.
7, Advisories appear at the bottom of the screen when there are items that you could equip or infuse with to increase your light level.

++ Decrypting ++
1, Once you've filled up your Vault space head to a social space to start decrypting
2, Switch Light Speed into 'Decrypt Engrams' mode and it will start moving Engrams back from the Vault and to your character
3, Engrams are moved in order of Rare first, then Legendary and finally Exotics to maxmise the light level of decrypted items
4, As you decrypt your Engrams Light Speed will auto equip higher level weapons and armour to maximise the light level of decrypted Engrams
5, Once you have decrypted everything from your Vault you can move Light Speed back to its 'Farming' mode to start again

Every aspect of Light Speed can be configured to do as much or as little as you wish. Auto Equipping of weapons and gear when farming is optional but can only occur when in Orbit, when not in Orbit an Advisory is shown.

Why does this work?
Rewards in Destiny drop relative to your current light level. It is therefore beneficial to equip new higher light items as soon as you win them so that the next drop is based off your new higher light level. If you run out of space on your character you won't be able to pick up any new items and they will instead go to the Postmaster. If this happens your progress will stagnate and you will need to visit the Postmaster before continuing. Light Speed makes sure you always have space to pick up new items, will always try to equip new higher light gear if you allow it and transfers engrams to the vault for decrypting later at the end of your farming session.
Engram decryption also uses your current light level so saving them till the end of your farming run and decrypting pieces which are below your overall light level will propel you further ahead.
