Feersum UK TV Guide for Android
This would appear to be the most useable free guide around, although the bar is pretty low. A couple of niggles - let's not have the full-screen video adverts when clicking on programmes to get info, and one of the multiplexes from the Oxford transmitter is missing.
Excellent in fact, unwanted channels can be hidden and the remaining wanted ones reordered. Best of all, the app retains its programme data - so doesn't need downloading before each viewing. The only problem is the app gets its Freeview programme information from a database that hasn't had its channels revised for some time. ... PS. Good for far more providers than just Freeview. ∆∆∆ UPDATED 2006/10/05 ∆∆∆ Now getting all the missing channels, also defunct ones removed.
Has this app a couple of years. It WAS good but it ISN'T anymore. Programs disappear after a few days and have to reload. This in itself has taken 2 days and it's still not happening. Just says initializing. Come on feersum...you used to be the best!!
This app was great but now the channels don't load and I have to reset and reload every couple of days. Wish the developer would fix it as I've seen many complaints about the same thing.
It took you several years to fix the bug that caused the app to crash during startup, if the screen was rotated. Now that that bug is fixed, the app is perfect. It also loads much faster than before.
I'd highly recommend this app. Only drawback: the search option is a bit tricky. Further suggestion: add a button to details box to copy text to clipboard for use with text-to-speech etc.
A very useful guide to a wide range of TV Channels attractively presented with good detail on each show. It is easy to navigate the scheduled broadcasts and find information on a vast number of channels. Unfortunately a few channels need to be removed like BBC3 and Sky Arts 2 for example but I do like the channel identity place holders and the easy to compare chronology. This is the best online guide I have found.
I can't speak highly enough of the developer who looks after the app. He always responds to issues, and genuinely looks after people. Thank you, and great that it's up and running again.
Distracting advertisements with flashing icons and channel list not updated after last Freeview change. Would otherwise recommend.
After several years the app stopped working, unable to load programmes. Have changed to a different app.
using on android box. set on north west region. loads the channel logos but no programs appear in the timeline. just has station name where programs should be
I used to love this app...It WAS the best but now...!? USELESS...! Won't even load channels setup....
This is a brilliant app and is the only one I know of that gives the radio listings too, which is a big plus for me. Highly recommended.
Fundamental errors - why when I select East region of Freeview, do you list London Live at channel 8, when it should be Mustard TV? EDIT: thanks to the Dev for prompt reply (and for politely ignoring my error that Mustard is on ch 7 rather than 8!). Frankly, if true, I'll be glad to get rid of the truly dire Mustard. Nonetheless, it is still currently broadcasting, so should appear in your guide. If that isn't possible, please find a way of deleting London Live from all non-London regions. Also, there are still many missing channels, the two BBC Red Button channels at 600 & 601 to name two. Regards.
Love the app when it's working, sadly at the moment it isn't. It's not loading any listings at all. Please correct or I'll have to uninstall.
and I haven't come across any adverse adverts, yet.
Delighted to get an update although the (two year old?) version was working fine for me and miles better than any of the other guides I've tried.
This is a great App. By far the best TV guide App I've seen. I'd give it 5☆ if you could move to external SD card to save internal memory.
Stuck on initializing, trying to find region so fundamentally useless. Hence 1 star.
App has been greatly improved, annoying little bugs have been fixed. Subscribe and help finance development of this app. The small cost is cheaper than paying for other (magazine) guides, and saves trees.
I'm delighted to give 5 stars. Now you have all channels it's great. Particularly as it can be accessed off line. It's now the best TV app.
After 5 minutes I gave up on it. Didn't load channels. Deleting ASAP.
When I want to share programme details onto Facebook, there's nothing there. Please fix.
Just wish the font was larger in the listing part. But well layed out, clear and not overwhelming. Also works well.
This just does not work on my Nexus. Recommend the freeview app, that's very good
Wud ave full marks but noticed not all channels included, for example can't find "Spike" either on Freeview or Sky
Great guide but crashes when trying to search for a channel
Missing channels. Search is clunky
the text is too big for my nexus 7 tablet. pls change font for tablets or add option for changing the font
An app that lists Virgin Media - thanks. Would be 5 stars if it could set record
EPG fails to load programmes
Only channel it hasn't got on the guild is spike please add spike thanks
This is great. I've had this ages and it's my goto guide EPG. I recommend this app to anyone.
Will never buy another TV mag again

Thank you for updating but what has happened to the colours to make films etc stand out. It says it is there but all it does is just change the font. Only a small niggle which I can live with. Also what happened to freeview or is that you view now? Still most reliable tv guide to date. I love the grid layout and the fact it does a weeks guide at a time. I also like the fact you can see a few days behind. Also Love the fact you can still see the guide with no internet connection. Really big plus point.
