Took ages to download my movie as it kept crashing, then won't play the movie. Considering Fox are such a big company, I'm really disappointed with this terrible app

The app is simple but simply does not work. I had movie titles on my old phone but when I reinstalled the app on my new phone it not only tells me the codes already been used but did not restore my old list of movies.... Seriously sucks. Would love to get support but never got a reply.

Took 6 attempts to put the media on my tablet and then 20 attempts to watch and still wouldn't work. Should be sued for false advertising or change its name to plays Nowhere!

This app is an absolute pile of Shit. Takes forever to download a film and then never plays.

I downloaded the movie and when I tried to play it. The "widevide initialization error" message appeared. Then I restarted my phone like you said and it still won't work. Fix it please.

Does nothing, shame on the developers and Fox Movies.

Utter garbage, mind you what do you expect from Fox.

my activation code dnt work. should i request a refund from the supermarket or blame this app?

Crap. Watched movie once. A few weeks later went to watch it and it is asking me to enter a code again... flixster is better

Expects you to keep downloaded indefinitely. Had to search in file browser to delete and unlike ultra violet can download and then deletion resets counter, quickly run out, exceed limits and can't watch. Keeping films at 1.5GB a go on any device is not realistic!

Can you get this working or I will give you my bank account details for a refund. I brought my copy from sanity and the code works so its your application not sanity's issue

Takes several attempts to download and then just won't play a movie. Real shame.

Should be renamed plays nowhere! Downloaded movie but just displays a blank screen and locks machine up, totally useless. Should have read other one star reviews before installing.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app 4x two different versions of it and it still won't work it either says loading movie forever or it says that error reload the application. Total waste of time this is on a samsung galaxy 5.

Would not let me open the movie and keeps saying it needs updates

This app stopped working some months a go, reinstalled it and the codes were lost, reentered them, all one device, and tried again. Again not working, then asked the codes again...at one point I got the message that I have used it in the maximum number of devices! One device not once worked! Terrible!

Poor App, even worse (non existant) support.

Downloaded film, wouldn't play. Waste of time

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Tried one movie and had various issues downloading it. When I finally got it it won't play. Says video error 006. Garbage.

Pointless! Just a memory thief!!

Doesn't run on rooted devices. Requires Wifi connection to download movie file (won't work over a 25MBit/s LTE unlimited plan downstream connection which is the type of connectivity that mobile people really have nowadays). Proposal to Fox Digital Entertainment Ltd.: remove the root and wifi filters, OR, maybe the better solution, switch from the download system to a streaming system, because I don't know anybody who likes to clog the storage of her/his mobile devices with huge movie files anyway... Of course you'd have to maintain a user database and their movie libraries. But it would be certainly a smarter solution. Maybe team up with YouTube? They got a "purchases" section in the user accounts since you can buy movies from Google play...

I only have one movie in this app and it still will not play, I got this movie over a year ago and have never been able to play my digital copy that I paid for. Does anyone from Fox ever read these reviews. Have done everything it said to do and it still won't play my movie, found another movie in my library and lost the first one, still waiting for a fix

Have Fox not heard of the word 'stream'?

Fails at playback with widevine error message.

Couldn't download film onto my android tablet at all. Always crashed. Only option was to load onto my PC and do a manual transfer! UPDATE 1st time used it crashed. Had to reinstall. Then needed movie activation codes to play. Movies play wrong way up on my tablet and can't change orientation. Still not impressed, flakey and too much messing around. Not worth taking up memory with! Would leave zero stars if possible.

Massive gray bar on screen at all times and picture cut, Skyfall. Terrible player.

Just stops 23 seconds in not impressed

Takes ages to download digital copy. Playback stutters, then video freezes while audio stutters on. Needs force closed. An appalling piece of work, shouldn't be allowed out on its own!

Has no clear instructions, loading time a complete joke and never finnishes so you cant watch a thing! Dont know why film companies even bother with this ultraviolet and flixter are so much more reliable. Chuck it in the trash!!!!!!!!!

The app works but won't let me move film files to a memory card.
