FBReader Premium – Book Reader

I can't get your tts plugin to work correctly. It disappears when I change pages. It doesn't appear in the plugin list. And most of the time it doesn't appear in the option unless I start it before hand. Very annoying.

I've been using the free version of this reader for several years and have never known better. Also I haven't found any negative sides yet, so I bought the premium just because it was a bargain-sale and I wanted to support the developers.

Old issue, seems to be fixed:Issue with new version: for some reason the app closes and it no longer returns to where you where when you restart. 1/12/2018-New issue: the app just FBReader TTS+ plugin just stops every once in a while. Could be 5 minutes; could be 1/2 an hour. Some times I can restart from menu>Speak+. Sometimes I have to reinitialize the system TTS. This is my most used app. This is a minor frustration, but perhaps it can be fixed.

Best ebook reader, hands down. I've used it for years, reading 100+ books on the free version. The appearance is very customizable: you can edit virtually any part of how books display. Small criticisms: complexity and difficulty of settings. You must constantly go back and forth to see changes. Syncing works well, including highlighted quotes, but the quote interface is very underdeveloped. I also had issues adding fonts. Premium doesn't add any necessary features (though it does look nicer), but this developer deserves the price anyway just by offering such a quality free app.

Long time used free version and it's really cool thing, thank you for your work. Decided to switch for premium because of google translate integration and thought it would be "tap to translate" but unfortunately its not. Although its looks buggy compared to free version

Margin settings are not consistent (changes between files, some are impossible to make the margins small even if set to zero). It does not display pictures. Also does not display PDF page content (I do have the plug-in installed). I've switched to Moon Reader, and that works great - all the files that weren't displaying as expected here are perfect.

Enjoy the premium but I cannot find a way to personalise it at the moment. At the moment I select the voice to text, then select the UK voice each time I want to use the feature.

Crashbugs opening library when some books present, refuses to open book I'm reading, and probably more long-standing bugs. It's good, but the project seems abandoned, don't bother donating.

Best reader so far! Nice feature of looking up words by a single tap, but it doesn't work for PDF files, just epub - the word in PDF needs to be marked manually. For learners, link to Ankdroid would be great.

Simple to use, customisable and works flawlessly. I can read all my ebook library despite the different formats I've gathered over the years. Free version is fine but bought the full version to keep devs employed.

This is the best eReader app I've ever used on Android... I was more than happy to pay for this premium version (which supports .cbr files [comic books])! Worth every penny! ♥

Tried a few other readers before I landed on this one. Never really had a reason to search anywhere else since I started using this app almost 2 years ago. Just realized that I've been using the free version and have never once redirected to any ads in those two years and I've decided to purchase the best premium version, not because I have to, but to show my appreciation to the developers.

Had it on old tablet worked gr8 . on new tablet will not open from SD card. Tried to email dev only to find out no dev or email that is list. The email gets sent back as no such email.

Finally had money to throw at this app. Thanks for being the best ereader.

I cannot seem to import all of my EPUBs. All of my EPUBs are on a single folder but it cannot detect all of them.

Is there anyway to import the last couple of years reading logs from the free version to here?

Best e-book reader in the market. I have been using this since my first Android phone, and never turn to another app since. I bought the premium version to support the app the moment my carrier support Google Play payment, even though the free version have all the features I need. It is worth it.

It was the best ereader on Android. I'm visually impaired and use FBReader with the TTS plugin every day. There is a bug though, that causes the text background to become black while using the TTS plugin. The creators either won't or can't fix this problem even though it's been reported.

really good reading app, i can totally forget kindle as this app can read almost all the formats including cbz cbr too. but i would still be needing single word pop dictionary lookup like the kindle app provide, pls add this feature..

Simply the best ebook reader out there. Great support for different formats. Has no issues with large libraries (I have over 1600 books in mine). Multi directory support.

Using unpaid version even after buying this, because when going back to the list of books, 'free fbreader' lets me delete read books, and updates the file listing. Bought this to support the free version.

It's the best app for reading. Lightweight, fast and practical. Doesn't have any unnecessary things. Purely for reading ebooks.

I had to pay twice for this app. Google playsyore didn't let me download this app for the first payment.
