FBI Child ID

Every other comment mentions the Birthdate issue, and how you can't change it. Some have said they figured it out, but they don't say how they did. Comments from 2012 mention it. Why wouldn't the developer fix one of the most important pieces of data. Also, my husband and I have the same address as our child, put a button in to copy address or allow for "same address" instead of adding it three times.

I love the idea but hate it. My photos loaded fine. Bt the birth date year couldn't change and I even tried scrolling thru to change it but it wouldn't happen. And plus cant see month and day to know if you've correctly set it. Once those issues are corrected I will give a 5 star rating.

Great idea and wonderful to help parents feel safe. The only issue I'm having is with the birth year. The month and day are hard to see but I can see it. But the year I can't even find how to change it. When that's fixed I will update to 5 stars. Thanks!!

This app is a great idea but should have the option of race as bi-racial instead of just choosing other. Also the date of birth is hard to set and view. App needs some changes made to make it what it can be (a great tool in time of need).

I can't adjust the birth year for any of my children (it shows 2014 for all of them, which would make 2 of them not even born yet). The App itself is a great idea, and I'm glad to have it, though I pray I never need it.

I wasn't sure if it was going to work. Since alot have said the birth date didn't work. But u found that u have to go all the way back to the year they where born. It starts out in this year. I think this is a great thing love this app

Great idea... Needs updating. Can't upload photos from files or from taking a picture (arguably the most important feature). Some of the data input features cannot be seen and are nearly "hidden" - specifically inputting a child's date of birth (arguably the second most important feature)

I keep getting "Error:Street is empty" when it is not empty. This is on the childs street address. It will not save, which means I have to re-enter all the information when you get it fixed I upgraded to a new phone, Droid Ultra Max, this is a bad implementation interface. Especially the birthday section, its impossible to edit on my phone.

Older version worked without problems, until recently. Reinstalled. Doesn't work at all. So disappointed.

Great pics, no problems

Locked myself out, because the swipe to unlock feature will not work. White bar moves across, nothing happens. White bar disappears, glitches out. On about my 20th attempt, looking like the only option I have is to uninstall and reinstall.

The app keeps erasing my childs infi half way through entering it. I'd expect an "FBI" app to save as you go like a Google doc. After all "information" is their most important ally. After adding a nice hd photo it looks like it came off an old flip phone. Great idea and I hope after all the time I've taken to enter basic info that it will eventually save.

I just updated this app on my Galaxy S4 and the pictures that you take with the camera or select from the gallery are distorted...not sure if in an emergency the picture that law enforcement receives would be distorted also. I can't seem to find anything in the app to fix this issue. The older version provided clear and accurate images of my kids.

I had issues with the birthday and other functionality of the app, but since the update - it works great on my Samsung Galaxy S 4. And sending the information to your own email for archival purposes is a smart idea. Easy to get to all the links and input information. Uploading pictures of birthmarks is awesome!!! A million time better since the update. No information is sent to the FBI or anyone else without sending it via email. Any mom or dad needs to use this for each of their kids.

It won't download

There still seems to be issues when inputing the birthday. The year can't be changed and the month and days are not very legible and are hard to change as well.

Fix the part where we choose the month, day, and year our kids was born THEN I WILL GIVE 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ galexy s5

Great idea! Needs bugs fixed and more info. Entering my child's birthday is impossible & gender, state, and race are too dark. Would like an alternative number and name with relation to child beside the guardian's. Be able to specify if guardian or parent. Explain which numbers are home, work, cell etc. More room for entering street & identifying marks. Any special needs or medical need(s) or condition(s) with child's doctor name and number. Maybe child's school name, grade, number. Please add!

Love the idea behind this app!!! Would give it 5 starts except for 2 things. 1) can't make out the birthday or state fields very well and can't change the year of the birthday. 2) having to fill out a lot of the same information again and again. That said, until they fix the birthday issue, I'm using the comment field at the bottom to show the actual birthday.

Cannot upload photo, the state list box is coloured wrong and hard to read, hard to input birth date information as colours are wrong.

I give three stars simply for doing this, however, the app itself is poorly designed. I'm removing this because it's difficult to use. I never got post entering a birth date because you literally cannot see what you're doing. I was squinting to do what little I did. If they want this taken seriously, update. Now. Last week.

The deep down menus are screwed up to the point that you cannot see the text. Date of Birth is so bad that you can't see the calendar or the year, and the same applies for the State field in the various address areas. Fix these menus, and my rating will be raised to 5 stars.

Birthday STILL NEEDS TO BE FIXED! I can put in the month and day but not year. Pretty crucial. Also I didn't see how we could edit. I'd like to be able to put a new picture in maybe every six months or so. I may use a different app if I can find one that is more friendly. Some of the things are very hard to read. Also a box to check that the Guardians have the same address as the child might be nice.

Still unable to set birth year.

This is a great idea. However the interface needs work. I can't enter my childs date of birth the field is unreadable. Going to give a 1 star in hopes that it attracts attention to be fixed.

Excellent idea! Had to add my child's DOB in the add'l comments because it won't let me put in the correct info. Using a Samsung Galaxy S5.
