Iristag

Some difficulties with an app that seems clumsy. Many times the buttons do not work. More puzzling is the ability of the app to list 4 tags when I only have 2. Are the others those of a neighbour? What's more, all 4 are identified, even when my 2 are switched off. The other two still have default name... (iristag)

The App is free but only works on Android 4.3 and above. The actual tags are £15.99. Each!! The location bleep is not very loud and the App itself is poor. This concept works to a certain extent but I'll be sending my tag back for a full refund and deleting the App. There's much better out there. Avoid!

Avoid like the plague. The app does not work on any of the android devices that I have. The support from the suppliers is totally unhelpful. Look at the other reviews to see what other purchasers thought- they are in a large majority 1 star (hated it).

Bought two, but wish i hadn't. The software seems to be the cause. It frequently misbehaved. It has to be explicitly run, and left running. If closed (or phone restarted), then the alarm is left switched off. Not at all practical for real life use. Also having two tags, with one per phone, then the app would see both even if one was already set to the other phone and the screen gave no indication of which was which. Software now uninstalled and the tags left on the shelf to gather dust.

This is perhaps one of the most poorly designed Android apps that I have ever used. It appears to be a beta version that has bairly been tested. The instructions are very poor. The device is bairly functional with it. I can only hope that things will improve going forward. The developers should be ashamed of themselves for releasing a product in this shambolic state. It is as though they set out of make a counter intuitive app with the worst interface imaginable. However, as the device uses a Quintec Proxr chip you can use the ITracing2 app with it and this actually works, providing limited finding functionality.

I bought this product last week first it's hard to open then instal battery it's work one day then stop working very poor product I won't recommend to anyone

More better and more stable than i tag.

Crashes immediately on opening. Sending this useless waste of the plastic back to the shop. Do not buy an iris tag

The instructions say it good upto 75 ft,but on far setting,only allows me to go about 5 ft before it starts beeping,so I can't leave my keys in my jacket without switching if off.

Worked once then crashed. Refuses to start. Just gives message that iristag has stopped. Galaxy s5 lollipop. Reset phone reinstalled won't work. I now have a useless piece of plastic on my key ring.

Not working

Shame we can't give it zero stars, F*****g rubbish. Mine are going back to distributer for refund, I can't blame the sellers for a poorly supported product, the app is the major let down! Tried it on multiple android devices on different versions of android and none of the setups I tried worked properly. Absolute rubbish! How can you say it compatible with android devices 4.* and higher if the app hasn't been updates since July 2015, with the advances in Android OS you need to be updating the app more often like other app developers! Thats probably one of the reasons you have such a S**t rating. Just quit selling these things. Expensive Key ring/chains!

Bought a tag for my keys for £15. Downloaded the software and it worked once or twice. Nothing since. What a crappy wastre of money.

So many functions for the price I paid! Works brilliant on my S4. Highly recommend!

It works to some degree but the app crashes and some functions don't seem to hold or even work. I dont always want a proximity alarm bit there does not seem to be a way to turn it off. Nexus 4 Phone with Android 5.01 and Samsung tablet with Android 4.4 Both have same issues so clearly a hardware and/or hardware problem.

Picked up one of these tags for my Samsung galaxy s5, works great
