About LiveSorter

** Category query fixed! **

Get your applications automatically sorted and categorized into folders!
No more dragging and re-ordering your applications manually! Let LiveSorter do it for you.
Open as many folders as you like on your favorite launcher, they will list all the applications from the same category.

After you install LiveSorter and complete the wizard any new application installed on your device will be placed in the corresponding folder.
The category list is populated automatically from the Android Market.

Performance:
No battery usage!
No CPU usage!
No memory usage in folder mode!
LiveSorter ONLY wakes up when installing applications to update the database.
No limit on the number of folders and no performance degradation, this is NOT a widget!
Your folders will always be smooth (vs. widgets that will become slower with every application installed).

Free version includes:
* Automatic database update when you install/remove application.
* 3 folders/shortcuts with any category/categories.
* Option to hide applications from folders.
* Icon pack support
* Manual change of application category (if for some reason you don't agree with the specific application category)
for more fine tuning of the categories (i.e. 'Games - Brain & Puzzles') consider buying the full version (see below for full feature list).

Full version includes (now on special opening price of $1!):
* All features of the free version.
* Unlimited number of folders.

Known issues:
* None

Future improvement:
* Support for automatic sorting for Non-Market apps (using users opt-in data)
* And more, much more

If you bought the application and need to reinstall for some reason just open, click 'Buy' and wait a while, your screen will be updated once we get your transactions restored.

by G####:

Ran the setup "wizard" but no magic happened - didn't create any categories, just made a folder with all my apps in it.

I70%
by I####:

UI is a bit clunky, but functional. Works well

Z70%
by Z####:

When you update to work for all apps and not just market apps i will give more stars

Z70%
by Z####:

Ever since I installed this app, it just sits for hours 'updating' but staying at 0%. It took a good hour and 45 minutes to update the first time, yet didn't sort most of my apps.

Z70%
by Z####:

Free version supports only "All Applications" in a single folder. How on earth are we suppose to see this thing in action - automatically sorting Games from Tools and so on if all it does is chuck everything in the one folder?????! Useless!

J70%
by J####:

Only able to set up a folder for "all games" and "all applications." Why offer a free version if you can't do anything with it?

O70%
by O####:

I guess the full version only allows you to use All Applications (All Games). Sucks!

Z70%
by Z####:

Other than that's its awesome!

Z70%
by Z####:

Doesn't work on my Tab. Only shows two categories: all or none.

I70%
by I####:

Hung while updating categories - had to reboot. Category list shows white-on-white, so it's impossible for me to pick folders. Also thought it was going to create a native folder for me that ADW could then display. Good idea, but not fully baked.

O70%
by O####:

A great app! Sorting with no effort.

Z70%
by Z####:

A great app if you have lots of apps & want to access them with context. Only fault with it is that paid versions icons are basic. Google icon search?

Z70%
by Z####:

Was always too lazy to sort my apps in folders so this is perfect for me :-)

Z70%
by Z####:

A genius idea and a great application!!! Much better than all other alternatives.

B70%
by B####:

just the app i wanted organized, efficient, easy setup

L70%
by L####:

Easy to understand and very configurable app.

Z70%
by Z####:

Been waiting for an app that does this but poorly implemented, no folder navigation! "Folder Organizer" still the best.

Z70%
by Z####:

And great app for that

E70%
by E####:

Amazing.

Q70%

Crash.let it be a manual classification... HTC desire

R70%
by R####:

Useless

Z70%
by Z####:

Had a lot of hopes but .. It just won't work on my JB Note 3 Takes forever to do the job but eventually restarts with no category available at all :(

Y70%
by Y####:

I ran it through the set up three times and it did nothing except waste my time. The only thing accomplished was to add another icon to the screen.

B70%
by B####:

This app doesn't auto-categorize on Nexus 5.

M70%
by M####:

Won't get categories for some reson and can't find a way to manually input them.

M70%
by M####:

Unable to categories applications

M70%
by M####:

Good idea but why are all my app categories in Norwegian?? No option to change the language. And the edit categories need an overhaul. Xperia Arc

M70%
by M####:

.... but no categories at all no matter how many I redo...... nexus s.. ics.. doesn't work now

M70%
by M####:

Does not allow me to select a category for a folder. Even manually retrieving cat from market place does not work. Galaxy note ics

M70%
by M####:

Did not create nor allowed to edit categories. Uninstalling.

M70%
by M####:

Scans for categories none found. No good doesn't work, don't bother. Samsang galaxy s2

M70%
by M####:

Category scanning freezes though my internet connection is stable. Folders can't be renamed. Icon customization works, though. Tried it on Xperia Mini and Galaxy Tab.

M70%
by M####:

Has potential, but never finishes categorizing. Over 24 hours and still @ 11% on 4th try. (Epic Touch)

L70%
by L####:

Just need a custom category ;)

Q70%
by Q####:

thank you for bringing folder support back! But what happened to the icons we could choose before?

G70%
by G####:

Great app!!! thanks

A70%
by A####:

Can't say it enough, the Dev responds quite quickly :)

T70%
by T####:

I'd also like a bit more of customization available since I cannot decide settings for a single folder

M70%
by M####:

After the update, the app just doesn't work right. Loading the app causes it to hang and eventually force close. Background scanning hangs also.

H70%
by H####:

No more searching page to page to find that app. Could never be bothered to move the icons manually one at a time. Well dobe to the developers.
