The book, “FAVOURED WOMAN” outlines the exclusive roles of the woman in the society. This all important role had been divinely bestowed upon the woman. There are certain roles that are often regarded as traditional roles of women. Such stereotypical roles explain the roles of women to end in the kitchen, family and household chores. However, the roles of the woman as bestowed upon women transcend beyond the kitchen. The woman also plays spiritual roles which contribute in moulding the general character of humans beginning at the family unit level and extends to the church vis-à-vis the larger society. The book also outlines the indispensability of the womenfolk in nation building. It is a must-read-book for all the women who hope to key into God’s favour as pronounced upon the women. Even younger women in transition to total womanhood must also read this book as it will give them the opportunity of understanding how the favour of God upon them translates into blessings and favour and general fulfilment.
