Word of the Day

Cool app. Unfortunately it falls short for me as it does not have a pronunciation guide like a dictionary would. Developer if you see this please add that feature as I highly preferred your app layout but the missing pronunciation means unfortunately that I will be finding a different app for this.

I think not! I just want a random word each day; they don't need my login credentials for that!

I am using this app on Xioami Mi4i. There is no widget option available. Please fix.

Only thing missing is pronunciation for all the words, everything else perfect tho

The crop wasn't forced on the vignette. I absolutely love the idea of the app and how it took it to the next level allowing you to vignette with your own picture. I plan on making it a photo challenge of sorts. I just wish I could choose my own crop size. But really awesome clean app.

Worst app ever. Even I provided all my details, it asking something different. And not able to sign in or sign up. Why should it has that much security even internet banking is easier than....

Stupid app. It wont let me sign up unless i have gmail....

Easy learning of a new word each day. Set the time for your suggestions and enjoy daily. The App is well designed and smoothly functions. If you like to learn, you'll love this App :-)

Every time I try to create a vignette, it says error creating vignette. Please fix.

I just wish the words were something I can use in everyday chat to use frequently and learn.. They r really random and would probably never actually be used in a sentence.. I mean no disrespect Just saying.! Thank u and keep up the hard work..!

It's okay, has a lot of potential. 1: The widget needs to be more flexible (resizable), right now it can only be 4x2 or greater and has a lot of wasted space. 2: The widget should contain all the info (definition, origin, used in sentence, pronunciation) in a scrollable format. It'd be cool (but not necessary like previous comments) if the widget collated several days worth of scrolling words to help with retention.

The app would not update. It only presented the word of the day for the first day I installed it. I wish I could skip voting and just leave a comment, I really don't want to rate this without giving it a chance first.

I installed this app like 3 days ago and only received one word since then. Though it was supposed to be a word a day? Deleting.

Good app and interesting words, however, since my phone has updated, the widget has changed to the word from the previous week and I can't seem to get it up to date. Fix and I'll 5 star!

Don't you think people use this kind of apps when they're trying to learn another language?! So just English?! Basically Useless!

May be its just me but it always provides useless words. I would like it to get more relevant words. I have never used or have seen used the words suggested by this app.

The app is very nice looking and works very well. It has a modern material interface. Unfortunately the words are often so obscure and specific that they are pointless to learn. I want to better my vocabulary with words I can use, not words like "sipe" and "impost", the latter meaning the weight a horse must carry when it is racing. Unless I were a jockey, I would never use that. Many of the words are like this; incredibly specific to the point of uselessness.

Every time I opened it it shut down and it got took off my apps when I didn't even do anything. So I hope you don't get this app

I like this app in general, it is simple and to the point. The material update looks nice. EDIT: The bug with setting the notification time is now fixed in v2.0.2, thanks

If possible I'd like to receive more than one word of the day. I imagine receiving 3 notifications a day. It would be great but great app.

I haven't had it for a long time. But I like it!

Building ones vocabulary is important and this app definitely helps.

Word of the day does not mean phrase of the day, not to mention how horrendous some of these words are. Looking for good words to use in writing and these are almost always absolute junk. There are way better word of the day apps. Try SAT word a day free! You can change the word if you don't like it and it will pronounce the word for you!
