Kitab Fathul Qorib Translation

All praises be to Allah. Shalawat greetings upon Prophet Muhammad, his family and the Sahaabah. Qadhi Abu Shujak Ahmad ibn Al-Husayn ibn Ahmad Al-Asfahani said: I was asked by some friends to compile a summary of fiqih of Shafi'i madhhab which is very succinct and simple and divided into many parts for easy to learn and memorize. I fulfill that request by asking taufik to Allah Almighty and All-Knowing.

This book is the translation of the Book of Fathul Qarib. This book is a very famous Fikih book, especially among pesantren, because this book becomes one of the reference of learning in pesantren. This compact yet compact book is the work of Shaykh al-Imam al-Alim al-Allamah Syamsuddin Abu Abdillah Muhammad bin Qasim Asy-Shafi'i.
 
This book contains various issues of jurisprudence in many respects. Here is the outline of the contents:
Volume 1 discusses: The sacred laws, the laws of prayer, the laws of zakat, the law of fasting, the law of pilgrimage, the law of sale and of various other transactions.
 
Volume 2 discusses: Laws of inheritance and testament distribution, Marriage and all things related to it, laws of jinayat, various laws of Had {punishment}, Jihad Laws, laws of slaughter and food, the law of oath and nadzar , Judicial and testimonial law, and the laws of liberating slaves.
