Universal Xbox Media Remote IR

Great remote! Using Samsung S6 and we use the XBox 360 as a dvd player, no problems. You have to be in a straight line with the player to use it though, but you can stand very far. So when the controller batteries are dead this is a great substitute.

It didn't work what so ever for my xbox remote. I tried everything. 3 feet away . i took my phone cover off and it still didnt work. My kids hid my xbox remote somewhere

Yo nfs i really thought it wouldn't work an at first it didnt an its ask did it work when i press no it made me try a again didnt work then it asked me to try a third time and boom my xbox turned on .....i was shocked .... like i broke 2 controllers out of pure frustration an all this time i could have downloaded this free app...

Its cool ive trolled my friends with it by turning their consoles off well there playing games and just being able to use this instead of having to waste batterys on the controller if ur on like youtube or netflix

Terrible it said point at Xbox that's what I did and nothing happened I pressed the power button and waited nothing happen the Xbox wouldn't turn on

I loved how I could swipe my phone down and the remote control was easily accessible but unfortunately it only lasted for 24 hours

My vizio remote works. This doesn't so I know it's not my phone.. this app did not turn my xbox on. And mentioning after I open up the app that I need to purchase stuff is a slap in the face I feel.

I give it one star because it's bullshit , this does not work, I follow directions with no results ,, don't waste your time they are con artists

Hated it tested it on both xbox consoles they didnt turn on its also stupid you have it for one day then have to pay for the app stupid stupid stupid app

I liked it at first, went ahead and paid for other features and 2 days later it doesnt even turn on my xbox and doesnt work! I uninstalled the app and reinstalled and still doesnt work!

This works great on Xbox one. Now I don't have to buy the 30 dollar remote and I can watch Netflix without using my controller.

Doesn't work in the slightest sray away from this app cuz tbh its a waste of time as it does not connect to your xbox

Guys don't waste your time its terrible don't install it! I have a 360 and my phone was right next to it and it didn't work!!!

I love it so much it works well but a takes a few seconds to do what you wanted it to do still cool love I'll rate 5!

Stopped working all of a sudden keeps thinking im on a new device to control my xboxone...keep changing it to android but its still not working...

Useful app. Does exactly what i ask it (allows me to go controller free to use xbox feats like netflix and youtube)

I'm tired of every time I go into it I have to revert to free trial and then it sometimes doesn't even work

This app didn't work at all for me, maybe I dint have the right device or whatever.

It won't even start, it just keeps crashing.

I had to constantly fight with the ir to send the signal, some times going through setup again just to use the remote. Even loaded on a different device to see of it was my phone. It wasnt. Had to push the buttons multiple times to get the signal out. If this happens with the free version I'd hate to see how buggy the full is.

Everybody slagging this app off because it doesn't work. Only they're too thick to find out if their phone has an IR emitter first. Which the new smartphones don't actually have.

Our 360 is basically a DVD player, & we keep our remotes put away so our 1 year old doesn't get ahold of them. (Batteries are dangerous) But I love this app. I have the free version BC all i really need is the simple stuff, but its very helpful.

Please add an extra wireless network feature like the smart glass and this would blow that bloated crap away. This works exceptionally well, even typing on Netflix, even though slow as hell, does it better than swiping to find each letter. Only issue ive had so far is the swipe/tap to select. Seems buggy.

Wish I didn't contactly have the ads even with ad blockersThey pop up as u funding it around of off. Turning around becuase even though screen orientation is turned off on my phone I'm Having to keep turning the phone around and around just to access the power button

Works great, but it wants me to purchase the app again. It erased my remote settings, I went back through set up and now it's saying I have to purchase it again. The app itself is amazing. Without this happening I wouldn't have anything negative to say.

Its worked fine when I first downloaded it. Then out of nowhere, it stopped. I reinstalled it and it still won't work! Not sure what happened but it gets 1 star til I can actually use the dang thing

Only works sometimes. Bought the full thing yet the stupid tutorial screen pops up each time. Fix the bugs and it wouldn't be so bad

Works great within 5 feet or so, at 10 feet it's spotty but works most of the time. Considering that xbox has decided to not make their own app for a remote this might be the best option we ever get, and I'm ok with it. I've not had any real issues and I'm using the free version. Not perfect but good enough.

Well, it could have been better. Dont get me wrong it's very useful but when I exit it, it brings me back in and shows me an ad. To stop the ads I have to get rid of it out of my recent apps.

This app sucks. I stood 30 ft away from my Xbox and kept getting closer but it still didn't work. I tried on both my One and 360 and none worked. Would give a zero if I could

Doesn't work even though my phone has infrared. Frustrating. Mmy other remote apps work, just not this one

Works great with my Galaxy S5! For anybody giving this a bad rating make sure you have IR on your phone, and actually point it directly at your Xbox.

Make sure to follow instructions closely. Your a moron if you can't figure this out.

Did not work for OnePlus One. I don't believe this phone has an IR sensor. I think most of the people with 1 star don't have one either. Giving 3 stars as app needs IR, so its not for all

Works well and I'm sure the paid version has much better features but I purely only use/need as a remote. If that's what you're looking for, I'd highly recommend. 5 stars as a remote and I only gave 4 stars because I can't rate the other features considering I don't utilize them.

I was very skeptical about this remote. Well people the free version is impressive! Just when I thought it was impossible for an app to actually work I found this one. No more batteries in a remote for Me!!!

It's not worth it. It looks cool but it doesn't work. You go to open the app and it goes " this has stopped working" I've tried uninstalling it and then re-installing it but it still doesn't work.
