SecondScreen for Android
This app is interesting and useful, but in nougat, with a custom kernel the phone display doesn't turn off completely, it just goes to the lowest brightness. Can you try to find a workaround and force the display to turn off completely?
Fix my problem of connecting my tablet to TV. That's overscan problem. But not really perfect. Overscan has no 90% option and not really good.
Constant loop of crashed system apps had to force boot and lost all configs on tablet. Rooted t320.
Great for Slimport and Nexus to TV!! Backlight off function, sweet! Lots of options. Thank you!
I hate it cause it says not granted superuser preveliges when it didn't ask anything to accept or decline I think it's a bug so please fix it.
Totally rubish!
Does exactly what it says it does. MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS ROOTED BEFORE YOU TRY IT!! The only problem I came across is while my phone is connected to my tv, my phone back light dims but stays on causing my battery to drain. Other than that awesome app.
Plzzz TELL ME THIS WORK ON XPERIA
This is the best app of this kind. It is just what I needed for showing correct picture on my TV through HDMI from my tablet. No more black rectangle around picture on TV. Picture takes whole screen of TV in Full HD or HD or any other resolution, and better yet, it starts automatically as soon as I connect tablet to TV. Great!!! Backlight function also works! Everything in this app works without any errors! Thank you for making this app! Everything works on my ASUS ME301T (maybe you should make user manual in help, just to explain every feature and how it is used, not all users can find everything by themselves)
A question to developer: is true secondary screen possible (i. e. not mirroring, but independent/second screen) ?
...was successful! Basically, plug'n play! Running on G3 with CM12 with Analogix SP1004 Slimport adapter. Magic! A+++ for the app developer(s)! Thanks!
Galaxy s4 m819 just reboots the phone when opened. Yes it was granted su permission.
Great app work my leeco le 1s.thanks
Just what I was looking for
I liked it, but the problem is. I have all of my connectors on from Bluetooth to Wi-Fi connectors so I don't have to do it wireless. Does this only work with Smart TV, because I have a vizio TV that is a flat screen, but isn't very new.
Made a profile with 1080p output and default landscape... easy to use and extremely versatile. fantastic job!
No longer works. Crashes every time I make a profile.
does exactly what it says
Great job on this app! It completely outperforms other resolution changing apps. I don't even have to do a ui restart after enabling/disabling this one like other apps require. Great for getting extra performance out of games on phones with extremely high-res screens.
This is a very useful app for changing the screen resolution when using a docked phone.
Can this app improve performance if we lower the resolution?
Stupid app
and it almost broke steal i think it works when u put to low
I was just searching an app to turn off my phone display while mirroring/miracast to TV. Honestly, the first app I found is "Screen Standby". It can turn OFF my rooted phone display, but can't turn it back ON (which is a disaster, and need to remove the battery for restart). Then I found this app. Its additional function to turn OFF the backlight (and turn it back ON after use) works flawlessly! Seems like overkill for my current need right now, but ironically this is the ONLY ONE app that can do it. GOOD!
It rubbish connect it to anything no it will not work
I like how it handles screen resolution and custom dpi. I can even hide navigation bars and notification bars and other little tweaks. There is a slight little problem tho. I got a nexus 5, when i change into 720p and back to 1080p i lose most of my apps on my screen, thats the reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Everything else just works flawlessly. Best app for advanced tweakings for rooted phones.
Every time I try to log on it says unable to obtain superuser permission. I don't know what to do after that
Would be better if it is possible to force display into Phablet UI without modifying DPI
This is a great app. Please add 2560x1080 into your app. That's my 21:9 monitor resolution. Thanks!
Nice
I use it to swap between default and 1080p screen resolution on my phone and it works great. I like the fact that its safe and doesn't permanently change the DPI or resolution. I actually prefer this app over other resolution apps due to being able to easily go back and forth between 1080p and default without having to reboot.
Great app, but make sure you set the correct resolution and pixel density ;)
Display disconnected message stays on top of screen even when disabling second screen through tasker. Super annoying.
Does what it says, mostly, but can't seem to keep the phone's backlight turned off on my HTC One (M7) running CM 12.1. The backlight just comes back on after a random number of seconds, even though the SecondScreen profile is still active, and then the only thing I can do is disable and re-enable the profile or Turn On and then Off again the backlight via the Quick Actions menu. Also an annoyance for me is that there's a warning popup when I disconnect my MHL cable which pauses and un-fullscreens the video that was running, and I have no way to turn this popup off (same effect from auto-starting and auto-stopping profiles but at least I can turn that off).
Works while mirroring with my Appradio until I touch the screen on the Appradio. Which basically makes it useless for my purposes. Dev, please add the ability for the app to ignore touch input from an external source. Running 6.0 stock rooted N5.
A question to developer: is true secondary screen possible (i. e. not mirroring, but independent/second screen)?
Doesn't support WXGA resolution (1366x768) common on many displays. Didn't function at all on my Nexus Player, just crashed.
But why it says DRM PROTECTED. when I try to capture screen with my note 2??besides that is perfect. I use SwiftKey keyboard instead of samsung and goes better too due to auto adjust to screen size. Now i can see the 1080p youtube option in the application! Great! I have to fix camera application dpi to fit the new res using per settings app but I don't know wich dpi to choose. I use a rooted note 2. I connect it to a 46 inches samsung led tv using multimedia dock and Bluetooth keyboard also a sixaxis
But did not help with my Epson proyector

Tried it, rebooted shortly after. Now I'm in a bootloop. Thx
