Night Light for Android Nougat

Setting up via ADB takes minutes. Great non-root solution. Is missing a few nice-to-haves, such as transition and intensity setting.

Best app for non-rooted devices.

This app works with no hassle. I have two questions though. Why is an adb command required, when there are other apps that can use nougat's built in night mode?? There is an option to turn on night mode with sunrise and sunset. Is this a feature you created, or are you using the option that's hidden in System UI tuner?

Just what I have wanted since doing a wipe of DP5 and losing the precious night mode. Properly reimplements what Google feels it can just play about with and remove, but what is actually very useful. Since you have a QS tile, a widget isn't a must, but would be nice anyway.

Unfortunately, they removed it from the stock Nougat(not from the Nexus 9 lol) and this app brings it back! Lol I realized that I have to connect my Nexus 5X to a pc via usb.... That's impossible because I don't have a USB converter :(

Brilliant!!! Was bummed that it was removed in the final release but this brought it back... also has settings for automatically activating Night Mode between sunset & sunrise or even user-defined times & can blacklist certain apps so that it will not tint the screen when that app is open.

Works like a charm! There seems to be a slight bug when starting fresh on Nougat after using the Developer Previews with the Night Mode toggle visible, causing the newly setup device to be in perma-night mode. Toggling it with this app fixes that, AND brings back the feature.

Only took 5 minutes to do just wondering what security issues this may bring forth if any, and how do I revert if need be.

This app works! With a bit of adb tinkering and one command, I was able to get back my night mode

This app does exactly what it says it does. It does it well. It does it efficiently. It does it in a lightweight package. I'm still hoping Google re-implements their toggle in MR1, but this will work great in the meantime. Thank you, dev.

Should mention that you have to write adb shell before the you write the command given when you turn on the app.
