About Camera Launcher
Camera Launcher allows you to easily open your camera app from anywhere by swiping up from the home button (Android 5.1 and earlier) or holding down the home button (Android 6.0+). This replaces the Google Now gesture.
For devices with physical buttons, either holding down or double-pressing the home button will launch Camera Launcher instead.
This app also provides a Camera icon in the app drawer on devices such as the Nexus 7 (2012) that don't show the icon by default.

I like it.. it does what it boasts but I am not sure how to put it back to the Google Assistant shortcut... If you delete it then the long press on the home button becomes blank

Genuinely like the app, except I uninstalled and no longer have access to Google Assistant's launch via the home button. Already restarted my phone, uninstalled updates from the Google App, and still can't open the Google Assistant.

All it does is just crash

If you have Google Now Launcher, this app replaces the ability to use "Ok, Google" commands. In GNL, I can simply use "Ok...Camera on," so this is worse than useless for GNL users.
