The soybean yield estimator is a useful tool for farmers. The estimate is best when done within 30 days of harvest. The soybean yield estimator uses counts of plants, pods, and beans from 1/1,000 of an acre to estimate. The row width is used to determine length of row in which to make counts. Taking multiple measurements from various parts of a field and averaging results creates the best estimate.
