File Station Tablet for Android
This is not the place, but: Please make it accessible from gmail attachment picker as oi file manager does.
The interface is great - makes use of all that screen real-estate. Pasting isn't as obvious as copying though.
Very nice app for Xoom / tablet owners. Network access and sorting options would be helpful additions though.
This is an excellent File Browser for Android devices (sorry Apple fanbois, but iOS has no file system :-) . The UI is clean and intuitive. A must have. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1
Vefy good, nice file manager. I like it most currently. Large icons, beautiful interface, ideal for tablet.
This app organizes quickly and gets down to the point while keeping the graphical functions up to date.
Excellent. Beautiful clean interface, far and away better than ASTRO, and very fast. Would like to see option to customise shortcut folders on the left hand side - it would be great to be able to jump right into the usb stick when I plug it in! Also would like to see better icons for a broader selection of file types (a la dropbox!). 5 Stars when these features arrive! Acer Iconia a500
Essential app, must have for every HC tablet owner. Would love to see sorting options (by name, date, size, etc)
Brilliant file manager, stable and makes great use of the tablet screen size. No need for computers here, enables excellent control of the file system right from the Xoom. Apps like this make the Xoom more than just a tablet!
It's a beautiful and very functional file explorer for a tablet. I use this exclusively now on my Xoom because it just works. The tabs on the left are a nice addition too.
Flawless. Functional, stable, fits perfectly into the Honeycomb UI. Would donate.
Superb on Tab 10.1, really makes use of the large screen. Very easy to navigate and use. Best tablet file manager for tablet yet!
Please add the bookmark feature or at least let user to customize the "FOLDERS" list!! Thanks for the great work~~
Just downloaded it and is very easy to use on the xoom. Slight draw back, I have a lot of presentations and when I copied and pasted them, the app crashed. That deserves to be looked into. Apart from that, thumbs up!
Overall this is the best file explorer I have found for the Xoom. One thing I wish I could chance where the Folders point to....the Pictures folder should point to DCIM.
cut, past, move, rename...MUST app for all tablet owners
The best file manager for tablet... just one step to 5 stars is: adding option for hidden file/folder....
I use this every day and it does everything I need.
An excellent app for the most part. Without connection to network shares though, I'll need to look elsewhere.
The screen aligns perfectly and it so easy to use I found an MP3 file in a flash without reading instructions. This is one of those app you would need frequently. It even gave me an option to share the file which I used to email it to someone. Pity you can write a review from the galaxy tab android market place app itself/
This is a gorgeous looking and highly functional file explorer. If you have a honeycomb tablet, you need to get this app. I only wish the shortcuts to music, movies etc. were customizable.
Phenominal Dev support too. Problem was fixed and a new app version released within a half hour of reportig the problem.
The icing on the cake would be network integration and the ability to not display hidden folders.
I am using VIZIO VTAB , I have not found a better file manager. UI is well thought out and easy to use. You can create a folder something the others I have tried cannot do.
First off, I have an Asus Transformer, and as far as I can find, I can't access any files on any external SD cards. The main "hard drive" is basically an internal SD card, and File Station won't see anything else. Whether it's the SD card on the keyboard dock, or inserted on the side of the tablet itself. Also, I can't figure out how to customize the side folder's views, but outside of putting links to my SD cards/USB devices, I don't know that I'd need it. Fix those two thinsg, and I'll give it 5 stars.
Looks awesome and used to work great but since Jelly Bean it's pretty much redundant now as it can't find my SD Card. Looks like it's been abandoned by the developer too.
Is there anybody out there hellooooo. Making a file browser without the ability of memory card view is like bulding a car without a direction wheel!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been wanting a drag and drop file manager app for Droid. This is the greatest thing since smart phones. If you have a tablet or phone you have to have this.
No settings, no root, no nothing
Great UI, search and just looks good! Leaps and bounds nice and easier on the eyes than the stock file manager. Google should take note
Just downloaded it, not yet try....
I like it
Great
Nyc app must have for tablet. Gr8 work guys.
THE BEST. KEEP GOING
The best file browser
Looks like a great app, but I need to see ALL my data, not only what is on internal storage, contrary to what some might think. I have storage on tablet internally, microSD AND the dock as it's a Transformer Prime.
Awsome
Works fine it can access files from memory card (play video files without importing) only asks for one permission (write delete sd card) unlike other apps.
