FAQr for Android
For some reason some faqs are on the app but when I click the game it says nothing was found, even though I know it has faqs on the website, is there any way to get these on the app (game in question was the ps4 version of sword art online: hollow realization and fairy fencer f: advent dark force)
Couldn't ask for a better app. Aggregates guides from Gamefaqs, saves to your device for offline reading, has search and reading options, etc. It does everything right, hands down. Very surprised this isn't a more popular app.
I've had this app for a long time and loved it, however one of the recent updates has made viewing HTML FAQs impossible from the app. The app notes indicates the bug was fixed; I've tried clearing the cache the app data and even uninstalling to see if it was an issue on my end, and I am still experiencing issues accessing HTML FAQs. Most of the FAQs I access are in HTML so this is a huge issue for me. Until the issue is fixed I sadly will have to give this app 2 stars (as other FAQs load just fine.)
I use this app since I often don't have Internet connection or mobile data. When I don't have Internet I play my wii/3ds games, and this app is perfect for offline viewing of ascii FAQs!
This app is the perfect portable companion for gaming. A quick and reliable app for finding guides so you don't miss hidden items and secrets in games like Final Fantasy, Tales of, Zelda, GTA etc. 4 Stars, you still can't save HTML guides for offline reading and highlight paragraphs. Fix this and I'll re-rate this 5 Stars.
I was skeptical at first when I saw this pop up in my app searches but this app is really nice. I can search up my games I need FAQs on and it works great!! One of my new favorite apps!! This is useful if you game a ton.
This one was so shockingly good, I was able to look at everything I wanted to on Gamefaqs so quickly that I had time to come back to rate. It's got everything you could want and no fluff. Perfect!
this app is by far my most favorite and most used gamer app on my phone i love thw face ye can search the games ye want and it saves all the hints tips, etc. That ye chose for that game and adds it to a game list ALPHABETICALLY for a personal instant go to collection walkthrough tips and hints....i wanna give all stars but the only flaw is theres neen a plethora of random titles that are listed but have NO INFO AT ALL in the files....plz modified this by removing what is there and diminsh what isnt thank U
It's okay. Major offline reading is missing. We should be able to fully download a FAQ and read it whenever we want without the usage of internet, which just drains the battery unnecessarily. Please add offline feature. Unti then uninstalled. Edit: Most of the new faqs are HTML, would really appreciate a way to save them offline.
Good app. Can't seem to figure out where it is saving faqs to on the device though. I wanted to make some edits and trim out content I don't need
I accidentally deleted my old review, drat. Anyway, it's great for keeping FAQs on my tablet while avoiding the dreaded boards. One issue I have is the inability to see spoiler marked text in HTML guides. I think that would it be a great additional feature!
Great handling of text faqs. While html faqs are terribly handled. You (dev) should open the printable version of the html faq rather than the default one and save it locally and add a simple css script for dark mode. Problem fixed.
Great to save and bookmark FAQs but lately I've been unable to save images as I used to. They show up as broken links. Don't know what's happening. Rest of the app works fine
The only real flaw is that HTML FAQs need to be loaded every time you go in them. It would be the perfect app for gamefaqs if you could only solve that. Otherwise, very solid app.
I'd love to give this 10 stars if I could. It has such an easy-to-use format and great features to boot. You can pick right up where you left off using bookmarks and store a ton of guides for multiple games you're playing. This is easily my favorite app. I only wish that it was available for iPad as well so I could utilize the bigger screen.
upgraded my phone and now i cant view older maps, says "sorry an error occured please try again later", but no matter how many times i try the images will not load, very sad, otherwise excellent app. long time user, it has come in extremely handy 01/20/17 i emailed you with my issue, please let me know if you have any ideas, i still use the app. just inconvenient to not have access to maps from games *** update fixed the issue thankyou very much for responding 5*****
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for! Gamefaq doesn't show up right on the my phone and the text is tiny, but this app let's me view them how I want and I can even change the text size, font, and background! I love it and this will definitely be helping me to get through my games! Highly recommend to anyone that looks at or follows gaming guides!
Almost perfect. Suggested feature: allow data to be saved to an inserted SD card rather than internal memory. Yes, text files are small, but they add up especially with some FAQ being 1 MB plus.
Faqr team how can I transfer the saved faq i have on old device to another? I transfer the app but the save faq do not. Otherwise great app
Wish you could add a save html feature to not load up the faqs each time :)
Been using this site for a long time.
Sometimes the faqs that i downloaded needs to connect to internet to view it.. You need to fix it
JUST PERFECT! I couldn't ask for more! Nice for phones, awesome on tablets! Bookmark feature is so useful.
Works great, and no bugs or complications. It's also free what more could some one ask for.
Is this open source? I'd be interested in helping. I love how this app formats game faqs. Thanks!
Must have for any gamer. Easy to pull up guides and walkthroughs. Save them to your phone. Love It.
Love the app! Would like to see a lock in reverse landscape option at aome point.
Does everything it should and more, seemingly without bugs.
Very handy app! Very simple to search, read, and save FAQs. Many thanks to the developer.
Love the app. Is this basically a mobile version of the Gamefaqs website?
Can't post on forums
This has always been one of my favorite apps. Flawless.
Awesome app, keeps track of game guides that i need!
Fantastic tool for guides and very appreciative of the hard work that went in to it
This is such a great app. All my favorites at my fingertips.
Did not work. Was excited too. Love gamefaqs.
Apps like Evernote and Pocket solved the lack of offline viewing mode on Chrome but Faqr improved this functionality by being a dedicated Gamefaqs browser with a bookmark feature that remembers the last page you been. No more endless scrolling on a page to get to that chapter of the JRPG you left off. It's a bummer Html can't be offline. Can it just work like a pdf viewer? I don't think it's impossible. Keep up the good work work, guys!
This is the perfect FAQ app. I play a LOT of games, and often like to have an FAQ up to track my progress on the table of contents. I used to have 30+ tabs open in Google chrome, now it's just this. So easy to open and remove FAQs from the device. Only complaint is that the search function is wacky. I could not get the Doom 3 expansion to pull up no matter how I searched for it.
I searched for ages for something more convenient than browsers I'm an old school gamer on the earlier consoles and I've been doing this since childhood. The app is perfect in every way for faq viewing. My only complaint is that why didn't I use this sooner. Keep up the fantastic work devs and never lose sight of what you have here currently. It's perfect. :)

A while back Gamefaqs blocked easy downloading if the text file, forcing you to use the website or come up with some strategy to get the source. This app makes it really easy to save, bookmark and otherwise keep track of your progress as you play a game.
