IV Calculator - PokeGo Master

This is my favourite IV calculator. You can calculate the IVs of all your Gen1s and the first 80 released Gen2s including the baby Pokémon. The overlay works excellently, unlike some others that are really glitchy. I don't review apps often but I was looking forward to giving this 5 star review as soon as they added the 80 Gen2s to the app, which they did within 72 hours of Niantic releasing them. I like this app over other IV calculators, but I just got a new phone after my old one died, and the overlay is coming up in the wrong position. The arc radius is off to the right, going off screen, so I can't get an accurate calculation. Not sure what would cause this.

I used to LOVE this app when I had my Galaxy s5, but now I upgraded to an s8+ and the arc overlay doesn't match up, and won't give me an accurate reading. I'll still recommend this to other people with different phones, but I won't 5 star this again unless you can get it working on my new phone.

NEEDS TO BE UPDATED. Niantic have removed the notification panel from the game screen which now means that this ago Is next to useless. There are a few errors in estimated evolution cp. Out of all the iv calcs i have tried this is the simplest and easiest to use while still playing the game, has next to no permissions and is easy to read and understand. It needs updating as soon as possible after new pokemon releases, if it's not updated soon after the next batch is released i will find another app to use. The few minor bugs need to be fixed as well. Happy to give 5 stars and pay $2 if it works properly and is updated in a timely manner.

Needs to be updated. This app used to be the best. But with move tweaks, Gen 1 Pokemon are not being kept up to date. IV calc feature is still good (but so many apps also do this). What made it stand out for me was the best offensive/defensive moves, which is becoming outdated. Still referencing Legacy moves.

This app is one of the nicest to use IV calculators available. The downside is it just doesn't stay up to date whenever new updates change the meta (currently Feb 2017 they've been slow to add gen 2 but even worse have not updated attacks for gen 1, many of which now have new and better move sets then the ones shown). The IV is not always accurate either leading to a few inaccuracies. All this said its still good when up to date and working properly, and is totally safe to use as it doesn't interact directly with GO (which can result in a ban risk).

I used to rely on this app on my old phone, but when I upgraded to a Galaxy s8, the arc overlay part of this app doesn't align properly on this phone (probably due to the s8's "infinity screen"). It's a shame because I really liked this app, but due to this issue, I'll have to resort to using Stardust, instead of the overlay, to calculate my IVs.

Worked well for my S6 till the screen had separated on that phone, so I got the S8 and it no longer works for it. This app needs to update unfortunately to work on the newer phones.

Awesome handy tool to check on what to keep and what to transfer. ALSO There is a typo when too many possibilities are shown like doing a 10cp with 10 hp. Too* not "to" might wanna fix that.

Entirely useless... I've are WAY off. I had 2 breathtaking houndours. One with all stats equal...i got no calculation. The other hp and def equal and both 15s. But this crap said 11s ..its junk

Very useful app and easy to use as overlay. Only thing missing for me is the ability to filter the results by what the appraiser says (need improvement, decent, strong or best) when it's giving IVs over two level brackets.

I really love this app and have used it to make my game play better. HOWEVER, I'm hoping the developers will update the best moves database and the arc overlay to sync with changes in the game. If these changes are made, my rating would be a well deserved 5 stars

2 stars because no matter which method I use to check iv's I keep jetting NaN instead of a value, will improve my review of this gets sorted though as it's a brilliant idea

This app has been very useful in my Pokemon journey. With the recent update for Gen 2 Pokémon, I'm loving it again. Keep up the good work! If y'all are looking for suggestions, estimated evolution CP often seems to be off a bit (just got a Pikachu 435 CP --> Raichu 1134 CP instead of the estimated 1053 CP), and it would be nice to have max level max CP for that individual Pokémon instead of the species as a whole at level 40.

Brilliant. Updated with Gen 2 Pokémon very quickly, nice work devs! Uses an overlay with no account details required so safe to use. Great stuff.

This was my go to iv calc, but since the new pokemon go update, the meter doesnt align. Nothing has been done to correct it. Sadly I am uninstalling.

The overlay doesn't line up with droid z force. But dust still works. The fact that it's an overlay is a huge plus

Used to work, but I just upgraded to a Galaxy S8+ and the meter stick no longer fits the screen. The IV calculations, when you can find a spot where it works, does not match up with the description of the pokemon given to you by your team leader.

This app uses to be great but it doesnt work for galaxy s8. Pokemon level meter doesn't line up and results aren't accurate. I tested it on a bulbsaur I calculated using it on an old phone. The old results were 91% the new results were 41%.

This is one the best IV calculators by far, I love it! Now updated with gen 2 Mon stats, thank you!

Worked until i got an S8+ Now the level arc is utterly useless. S7e worked fine

If i could ask for 1 thing, please put a close button right on the X button on pokemon go so that out of habit it is easier to close the IV hub like it is a part of pokemon other then that one request great app supper usefull!

Small effective calculator. About the best you can get without breaking EUL and risking an account ban.

The best offensive and defensive movesets for each species need to be redone! Not all are correct anymore.

Great tool for Pokemon Go! This is the most accurate and easiest/fastest to use IV checker I've used hands down!

App works amazing on my old phone, but does not work on the new galaxy s8+ due to the edges. Hoping for an update soon.

Not updated yet for new Samsung 8. Doesn't work as it doesn't line up properly.

Used to be accurate before Pokémon Go update. Now the IV I got for "caught my attention" and "above average" are about same in the 60% range.

No longer works! The newest Pokemon Go update changed the Arc Location so it broke this app.

Can't figure out my IV, always say error. Never want it again!

For the overlay option: the little black arrow you line up with the Pokemon level arc isn't there anymore.

Was my favorite app butttttt crashes all the time now.

This app is great I used to use it all the time, but when I got the Galaxy S8+ the app no longer aligns properly over the Pokemon Go app.

Needs to be updated to work with Galaxy S8. Currently, the arc overlay doesn't align with the application, so it's impossible to use the arc overlay function. Will have to use stardust
