Faithlife Groups

1/16/17 - I keep coming back hoping updates fix the issues with this application... but it still doesn't do the basic things it intends to. I came back, this time hoping to start a group with my wife and kids and add a reading plan for us to go through together... I was able to add it on my computer... but it didn't show on any of our devices. And with notifications... oh my... they are either always delayed or sometimes never come through. I don't understand why faithlife is having such a difficult time with app development, but I'm still hopeful one day it works... until then I'll have to rely on less desirable options... This could be such an awesome resource for churches and groups. --------- I regularly come back and try this app hoping it becomes usable... Which it is getting closer... After this most recent attempt I'm gonna give it another shot. However, after just a few minutes some crazy issues still remain. Profile photos don't orient correctly, comments get cut off if too long, and scrolling is jittery... We'll see how it goes! // (the keyboard keeps closing while messaging!) // (no notifications... Makes messaging pointless)

Nobody really prays with you I tested against another...received many prayers there none here..It has some good features but but seems many amateur preachers just use it as a forum

I like the features

Has a relatively clean interface, but can be quite buggy, from time-to-time. Especially when adding items to calendar... Its getting better, but not 100% there for me.

It is not very user friendly on my android phone.

I'm wanting to set up a group for church and can't do it through the app. Is it something that should be done online?

This Bible study apps is one of the best, I recommend it for every serious person who desire to grow spiritually.

Installed the app and it just stays loading and never stops. :(

On my android phone I can't copy or paste text in this app! This is a real pain since I often want to do that. It also needs better notifications! If these issues were fixed I would find this app very useful.

I would love to give this app a better rating, but the failure to receive notifications drastically lowers my rating. How is anyone suppose to know what is going on in the group if the notifications don't work? One would have to be constantly refreshing the app manually because it doesn't update itself well and push notifications don't work. I tried contacting support, but no one has responded.

New discussion tab I can only post the topic. I cannot add any further description. Perhaps a quick fix?

Glad to see prayer lists now available, but really would like to see them available offline. I am often in Africa with poor or no internet access, so it's less than ideal to have to go online. Couldn't prayer list function have been made available through Bible app?

There's a tab at the bottom for prayers on my iPad I was wondering how to access that on my phone ?

I really don't like doing this but...I updated the app and it's super slow and taking forever to process requests. Not to mention it's very limiting as far as use. There seems to be no push notifications to your phone like Facebook or other apps; just email notifications. I'm thoroughly disappointed with this app. We're trying to use it for our church group notifications as well as other features like bible study and it's just behind the times. I almost wish I didn't update the app.

the app allows you to keep up with posts and comments but very little usability in-app. website has glitches as well but overall promising platform.

I am hopeful that this gets updated. That all the web functionality will be available here as well. Also, having notifications to have a better interaction.. I'm praying for you guys.. You have done a good job and is going to be better..

How can I create group?

Please let me control my group from this app. Please please please. I can't launch this at the church until I can.

I want this to work! Please make it work. So far it's doing nothing it's supposed to do. Actually nothing, no exaggeration. Ok, it launched.

I hate giving this a poor review but it's just really bad. Like the faithlife study bible app, this application is designed poorly, doesn't function as expected, crashes, and is not enjoyable to use. I absolutely love the idea of faith groups but even the Web version leaves much to be desired. Let's hope at some point it improves. But I'm not holding my breath!
