An excellent app.

The quality of the reader's voice is better than some other Bible apps. I could not make an application this good, but if I were building one I would find a way to shortcut from whatever passage I'm in directly to the next passage I want, instead of having to return to a decision tree, at least those in the same Book, if not all. High standards yes, but functionality is key to productivity

This is the best Bible App on the internet but it has one big problem. It crashes all the time. Sometimes it would not run at all. I would have given it ten stars if possible, if not these crashes. It will be very good if it has "Offline" version like other Bible Apps. It will be the best if I can DOWNLOAD the entire Gideon Bible on my phone so I can use it any time I want. I will give it five stars when the crashing is fixed and "Offline and Downloadable" versions are available.

I have Motorola Xoom tablet that runs on Android system. Downloaded and installed from Google play store. It let me pick language and Bible version but will not respond. All I can do is shut it down. Is there some way to get an older version that might work on my tablet?

This is exactly what I have been looking for. Something I can install knowing it isn't some individuals interpretation of Gods Living Word. Yes, a couple of glitches, but nothing I can't live with. God bless the developers of this app

This nifty little app helps in any situation. The fact that it is not just the Bible cover to cover makes it very useful. Simply choose a scenario that may be in and the app will guide you to what the Lord has to say. I love it!

I've been reading it while waiting at the doctor's office. I've listened to it while walking. I love the way narator changes his voice. It gives me more opportunities to get into the word. Thank you for all you do to share scriptures around the world.

I was raised with King James Version , I respect the USA Version , Thanks for delivering so many Bibles in so many places and thanks for continue to deliver written versions today. I feel written versions shouldn"t ever stop being handed to people and this APP makes it so much easier and quickly accessible for love by God and questionable reason explained by God and those whom in the past knew him close like is son Jesus Christ. My dictionary on this phone has been tampered character error to the left

Overall really good. Only bad thing I can say is it's disappointing that you have to be connected to the Internet to read. Why can't the scriptures be downloaded to the device? WiFi and data are not always available.

In trying to get an offline download I continually get stymied. Even after finally registering via Google which supposedly was successful it reports that my email address isn't on record.

The app is very easy to use and works well. Of course there are a few bugs like everything else, but is good. It's nice to take God's word with me while I'm out.

I love listening to the Word but I'm sad that some of your actors voices don't seem to use the right tone or accents on certain words to bring about the true meaning of the passage. Its more like their "trying to act" then say with feeling what is being said. And to me, Jesus seems like mist of the time he is angry. Yes he was harsh with the Pharisees and religious people but often times he seems angry at everyone.

Confused. Is it possible to download the entire Bible to one device? Is there a non-drama version of the ESV available? Would love to listen to the Bible offline, without a music soundtrack in the background, during quiet-times. Am also having trouble navigating out of Genesis 1 to anything else. Can't tell if that is all I have or not. Would rate it a 4 or 5 if I could figure out how it is supposed to work, and whether I am missing something. More guidance would be helpful. LOVE that Gideons are offering this app, though! Grateful ☺.

I love the app and the fact that I can share 1100 translations of the Bible. Right now I'm reading through the Bible and having the app read to me as I read along. Great helps. Had issues when I first got it but seem to be running fine now.

I was afraid this would be irritating because of over dramatized voices but no, it actually helps differentiate who is speaking. I can understand so much more and feel the bible is alive by hearing it.

A log time ago, bout 25 or so years, I prayed for a message I could follow easily, the Gideon has been at my right hand ever since. But I still work and study from all of the translations.

Excellent...the audio is a very helpful way to take in the bigger picture, playing in the background ( I have it on speaker on my mobile in my pocket) as well as picking up different details audibly while you do chores or routine things. Highly recommend this Ap.

Keeps crashing; even after I uninstall and install again. Still has many, many more bugs to fix! I have submitted many requests for support without any response.

An amazing number of languages and translations with audio Bibles, but sometimes it freezes or doesnt download all you select.

Helpful in so many different ways. I can share scripture with those of other languages, even though I can't speak or read them. What a wonderful evangelism tool.

This is great, especially when I am away from home, I can still do my daily reading. I think it's so great that you have it in so many languages, I wish it had the maps of the Bible also.

When I opened it up and went looking for different verses and books it was really easy. I liked the conversational language in the spoken text.

Excellent resource to have for personal use. It is a great tool for witnessing to others. Fantastic gift to all and best of all, it is God's Holy Word at your finger tips.

I did notice a little anger in the narrator voice in the gospel of John at times, but he is the best linguist I have ever heard. Overall it is the best narrative bible app I have heard yet.

It is a great app except it regularly crashes. When it does all I can do is reinstall it. Because of that I can only give it 3 stars.

IT tells me that the app is installed on my laptop windows 8 No where to be found. very upset

Several versions. Many, many languages. Text and audio. And tips on finding verses for specific situations. A great Bible app.

It's a very good app for not only reading and studying the word of God, but also for sharing with others especially foreigners since it is in over 1000 languages and dialects. It is perfect for anyone to listen to God's Word in their own language.

I have had a few Bible apps but this one is spot on. As a Gideon, I am pleased to show people this app and how it is so easily useful. This is my Bible at Church, SS, Bible Study, and at our Saturday morning prayer meetings. Great job. Our job is to get this in the hands of the lost just like our Bibles. Gary

I like having The Holy Bible with me at all times because it's the best and most educational book that you can read. I feel God's love when I'm studying and am always learning something about myself, God and His expectations of me and the incredible amount of love Jesus has for me.

Easy to use and therefore encourages me to read or listen to God's word more than usual.

When this app works, it is great. It crashes far more than any other app.

Like everything the Gideons do, this app is beautifully done. Very user friendly with lovely options. I love everything about it.

The word of the Lord is spirit and life. It lives and abides forever. We need the word of the Lord. No addition or subtraction.
