संतश्रेष्ठ तुकाराम महाराज पालखी सोहळा व संत ज्ञानेश्वर महाराज पालखी सोहळ्याच्या इत्यंभूत अपडेट्स आणि माहितीसोबतच आज महाराष्ट्राच्या समोर उभा ठाकलेला पाणी / दुष्काळाचा प्रश्न आपल्या जगभरातील लाखो e - वारकरी मित्रांना सोबत घेऊन सोडवण्याचा आम्ही प्रयत्न करणार आहोत.
या मोहिमेत सुनेत्राताई पवार यांच्या मार्गदर्शनाखालील Environmental Forum of India Baramati NGO या संस्थेसोबत संत तुकाराम महाराज संस्थान आणि फेसबुक दिंडी टीम एकत्र येऊन ऑनलाइन आणि वारीत प्रत्यक्ष चालणाऱ्या वारकरी शेतकरी मित्रांमध्ये जल संवर्धनाविषयी जनजागृती करण्याचा आमचा प्रयत्न असेल.
यामध्ये सोहळ्यातील प्रत्येक दिंडी मध्ये जाऊन माहिती दिली जाईल. सोबतच ऑनलाइन फेसबुक दिंडीत लाईक/जॉईन करणा-या प्रत्येक e - वारकऱ्यामागे एक रुपया अशी आर्थिक मदत दुष्काळनिधी म्हणून Environmental Forum Of India तर्फे दिली जाईल.
जमा झालेला निधी जलसंधारणासाठी काम करणाऱ्या संस्थेस दिला जाणार आहे जेणेकरून संस्कृती जपण्याच्या फेसबुक दिंडीच्या हेतुसोबतच समाजातील ठळकपणे भेडसावणारे प्रश्न हाताळण्याचा प्रयत्न यावर्षीपासून फेसबुक दिंडी टीम करणार आहे.
फेसबुक दिंडी टीम तर्फे सर्वांना आव्हान करण्यात येत आहे कि जास्तीत जास्त आपल्या ह्यावर्षीच्या इव्हेंट ला join व्हावे आणि दुष्काळाशी दोन हात करण्यात आम्हाला मदत करावी.
पंढरीची वारी म्हणजे महाराष्ट्राच्या वैभवसंपन्न सांस्कृतिक ठेव्याचा अविभाज्य घटक. ह्या पायी वारीमध्ये काही अपरिहार्य कारणास्तव सहभागी होऊ न शकणार्‍या वयोवृध तसेच नोकरी व्यवसायात व्यस्त असणाऱ्या पण मनोमन सहभागी होण्याची इच्छा बाळगणार्‍या अनेकांसाठी आम्ही "फेसबुक दिंडी -A Virtual Dindi" २०११ साली सुरू केली. यावर्षी आपल्या फेसबुक दिंडीच पाचवे वर्ष. यानिमित्तानॆ फेसबुक दिंडी टीम ने "Facebook Dindi" हेअॅपलीकेशन तयार केले आहे.
या अॅपलीकेशन मध्ये पालखी प्रत्यक्षात कुठे आहे हे Google Map वर दिसणार असून, पालखी मार्गातील विसावे , मुक्काम , गोल व उभी रिंगणे तसेच नीरा स्नान, धावा, मेंढ्यांचे रिंगण, शुभ्रवस्त्राच्या पायघड्या यासारख्या परंपरांची विस्तृत माहिती, लोकेशन, थेट वारीतले फोटो, विडीओ आणि पालखीपासून त्या ठिकाणचे अंतर दिसू शकणार आहे

Maharashtra is enormously blessed with so many cultural activities. The Wari of Pandharpur is a prominent part of its rich culture and tradition.
Due to some unavoidable reasons and circumstances few devotees as in senior citizens, individuals who are abided by the work commitments can't be a part of this holy event even though they deeply desire to be. Especially for these devotees " Facebook Dindi - A Virtual Dindi " was initiated in year 2011.
This unique application can be used to check the exact location of Palkhi on Google Map. Detailed information about Rest Points, Halts, Ringans, Neera Nnan, Dhava, Mendyanche Ringan, Shubhra Vastra Payghadya etc traditional activities, their information, location, pictures, videos as well as the distance between palkhi location and next halt will also be shown.
The Application will be highly beneficial to police, volunteers, Management of Wari and media people.
This year along with the updates of palkhi sohla of sant shree Tukaram Maharaj and Sant shree Dnyaneshwar Maharaj we have come up with a nobel cause. With the help of our e-varkari friends we are putting an effort to resolve the serious on going issue of water shortage/ draught in Maharashtra.
Also for each and every like/ join for Facebook dindi event one rupee will be donated to the cause by Environmental Forum of India. The collected amount will be given to the organisation working for water conservation.

Crashes frequently , map doesn't load properly leaving black spaces in the middle. Asks you to install the app from play store which is how everyone has got this app installed in their phone from anyways. That popup was unnecessary. Hoping to see a better app with smoother ui next year .
