EyeVerify’s Testing and Biometric Data Collection app allows users to try Eyeprint ID™ on their personal smartphone or tablet devices before natively integrating this technology into their application. It includes limited liveness detection only, and spoofing tests conducted on this app will not be relevant to the product sold through EyeVerify partners. It is intended to allow our B2B customers to do biometric testing from many different people, in lots of different scenarios. This generates data that we collect and use to improve and perfect our technology.

An Eyeprint can never be lost, stolen or intercepted because it’s scrambled and encrypted locally - it never leaves your device. Eyeprint ID uses existing 1+ MP smart device cameras to image and pattern match the visible vein patterns and other unique micro features in and around the eye. It’s more accurate than face or voice biometrics while being less expensive and more convenient than iris and fingerprint sensors. My phone has inbuilt eye-pattern scanning system. So, I tried this app. But it doesn't complete scanning. I scanned eyes for about five minutes but it says, " keep scanning to create your eyeprint". So one star for now.

It worked perfectly the first time. Planning on trying it at different times of day and in different environments to see if it remains as accurate has it been thus far. Can't wait for the technology to be integrated into other apps and the mobile OS... maybe Windows 10 could consider it, since it disabled the facial recognition that was on my laptop. Also, GLAD TO SEE THAT TECHNOLOGY IS STILL ALIVE IN KANSAS CITY.

It does nothing for you. The technology has a lot of promise but it's not usable as it is. Don't get me wrong it is pretty cool but you cannot integrate it with anything like your phone.

A professor of mine (Dr. Reza Derakhshani) at the University of Missouri - Kansas City developed this app after working on it for more than 5 years with a couple of students. They sold it to to Alibaba last for $100 million. Time to test it out.
