Expense Manager

Been using this app daily for nearly 3 years. Initially got it out of frustration with my inability to budget properly. Now, wife and I are on the same page and can see the big financial picture. Helped us to budget for new car and home. Could use a few more features, but is a very powerful app as is. Highly recommend. 2017 update: recently became credit card debt free. Expense Manager was a huge help in achieving that goal!

Edit.: below review means.. No family sync , also would love to know how to use credit card account. Currently I haven't clue, the limit of my crc is taken as an expense? Total limit of my card.. And current outstanding balance, where does it go? how do they interact with my main balance, is my total limit considered as an expense, or is my current outstanding considered as an expense.. My head hurts. ------- I was using it as a single, only issue I faced was, I myself wasn't organised enough to organise this daily. And was slowly learning to habitual myself to it. Just the time I was getting familiar and was able to get organised, I got married, and now it no longer helps. Othwrwise for singles this is the best app hands down.

I have used various financial apps. But this one is the best app, that completely fulfills my requirements. It contains all important options such as in-built income and expense categories, budget, charts, account transfer, summary of accounts, search activities, financial tools & calculators etc. Truly, it's a great financial app.

Hi all, Really its the great app. It is simple, convenient and super. But it needs few more features like "Pay from". Should able to add different accounts like Banks with balance etc. Adding different Icons for various categories. Themes and colours are very limited. It is the great app ever in free version. Cheers team.

This app is great. But when I use transfer button to transfer funds from one account to another it ask to write description not similar to previous one. For example I want to pay my credit card dues end of every month and I write simply "Credit Card Payment" in description then it ask to write different description than previous one please fix this in your next update

Its really great app. I am using it for more than 6 months..1 suggestion if you add some Business Manager features like task manager...etc...Lacs of users will welcome to use this single app rather than myltiple apps for their business management and finance management..Thanks

The App is perfect to Manage my Daily expenses across accounts. Very simple n easy to interpret interface. I would be more happy if we have a way to breakup the income in the summary segment similar to expenses :)

Have been using this app for 3 years now with 2 different smart phones. I have to say, it's easy to use as long as you have completed your own set of categories. Satisfied that it helped me keeping track of my finances.

I love this app so much. So much features at absolutely no cost. Fantastic! However, I'd love to see more work done on the SMS parsing feature. You get to press [[ ]] before and after an amount. I'll like to see something to specify if it's an Income or an Expense too. I don't want to manually edit the SMSes parsed everytime just to specify if it's income or expense. Also, the "Automatically process SMS message" needs more work too. If it processes a message and I edit the message or move the message to another account, it reprocesses the same message again. Please look into it.

I rarely give written reviews but this app and the developer deserves one. I've been using this app since 2012 and it has always been amazing. I recently encountered an issue with database sync (hardware and user issue) and reached out to the devs and they responded in minutes! I will continue endorsing this app with my peers and this is definitely a 5 star.

Loved the app until my note 2 crashed (won't boot up) and when I downloaded the app onto my new phone realized that I can't seem to import the data that inputted from before.. when I thought it was being backed up to Dropbox I cannot seem to get it from Dropbox back to expense manager! Update: emailed app support and they helped me fix the issue. Changed my rating to reflect the great support

I've used it for two years or so and it does everything I need; had only one problem: three times it has gone haywire and either added a huge amount or took it away! Now it has just altered all my data and changed everything to negative amounts. I contacted the company but haven't had a reply so I've had to reinstall and start again.

This app is really nice and helpful. It does has categories for expense and income and you can create your own. And graphs and what about printing checks! It is awesome. 5 star!

You are not at all looking into the issues we report but you expect to have 5 stars for your app. Please try to read the emails first and fix them asap. I even submitted video of the error

After one month, It is an useful friendly application. I wish developer manages the following issue. Application does not select subcategories of same name in budget creating or editing e.g "maintenance" which is under "Automobile" and "Home" categories.

I have been using this app for 2 years now. It's wonderful. And as developers claim no other app offers so many features as this app for absolutely no cost. However I am now bored of the UI. And would like to see new UI experience for this app. Please update UI

Great app to track expenses & manage a budget since day 1. Various options to backup data. Could the developers also include scheduled backups within the app or to Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.?

It would great if it would work. When I am trying to use it, it would start freezing up on me. Almost like ads are loading so everything else must stop until they are fully loaded...... fail!

Great app. I have been using it for years and as a result there needs to be a way to purge a date range of info without losing the current balance. Still a Five Star app

Brillant app. Does absolutely everything i need it to in terms of calculating expense and income and where i spent the money, how much and whether it was paid by cash or card

Although I don't use all the options available, this app is so far the one that fits me and usefully. I also appreciate the ongoing updates that this developer keeps doing to the app even I'm not a fan of the new style(keeping the old style for now). Keep it up.

Very useful. No annoying ads pop up. I just had a little hard time looking for the edit button to change the date of my input...but i found it already. I'm keeping this one.

This aps is very useful and helpful. Please make another aps where we can store the details and value of our fd, mis, rd and offline. We can entry details about these investment and can get notification on instalment and maturity.

Its good app. However, comparison of Income and expense is not visible on the same screen. Data analysis options can be much better. Please do something about it

Hi support, please add icons to the category and income reminder, when you click "Reminder" debit the account ( have 2 options inside.) Please The next version.

How can u export to PDF... You wrote in description... 2nd make it full screen hide statubar, and make it white whole theme like material design... Thanks. I will buy pro if it has PDF export.

I don't write review for any apps. But I felt that I have to write something about this app. This app is amazing to use and I recommended many. But I don't know exactly how to store the data and get it back. When I had issue in my phone I have lost data. Somebody guide me how to save the data in Gmail an get it back. By Rajesh

This is one of the best App for managing expenses and source of income. It has excellant managment of data. So that one can have any type of information regarding expenses. Data can be saved in excel file as well. As generous part from developer there is no difference between this and paid version. One can use app. totaly before having paid version. After some of updation, app. has moved from detter to best.

amzaing app... covers what i need on my phone, but i would like to ask how would i make checks count in the current balance when they are collected and not when i recieve it

Why the app doesn't have basic principle like convert account currency to base currency? For example I have PayPal account with USD and my base currency is IDR. So when I see the home page it feel convert to IDR. Please fix it. It solved! I deleted and readd the account.

Why my data is getting lost? After update, I have been experiencing issues. I have entered my expenses 3-4 times, but when I open the app next time,those entries are nowhere to be seen

Easy to use n intuitive. However it would be more useful if we can export/mail the expense sheet in excel format. Currently the data can only be transferred in HTML format which is non editable.

This is a awesome app for expense tracking and managing your weekly/monthly budget. You have the option to get weekly/monthly/yearly summary of expenses in chart/tabular format which I think is great.

Currency formatting is wrong, it insists on adding an extra zero. Maybe give the user option to customize currency format? Can't use it in it's current form, wrong figures.

Truly recommended! Simply n well designed, aint take long to understand the features' use, n certainly suitable for managing personal finance
