About RTU mobile
The Riga Technical University (RTU) mobile application has been developed by «Exigen Services Latvia» with the support of «Latvian Mobile Telephone». RTU Mobile is designed for students, faculty and staff for comfortable and modern communication through a mobile device. The application can be synchronized with the user's ORTUS account. It is a way to make the current RTU information more accessible to all target groups, and to make the learning process easier by using information technologies. The initial version of this mobile application was created in July 2013. It is available for iOS, Android and Windows Phone devices.

Tiešām nezinu, kam šī aplikācija ir adresēta, bet ja šo cilvēku vidū ir arī RTU studenti, varbūt vērts ieviest un izcelt sadaļas, ko tiešām lieto studenti, kā piemēram, nodarbību grafiku, piekļuvi priekšmetu estudiju videi, ziņapmaiņu. Tiešām neinteresē lasīt vēlreiz to Ortus ziņu rulli, kur tāpat 2/3 ziņu neattiecas uz mani, lai gan IT departaments, katru gadu reklamē, kā ziņas tiekot speciāli adresētas.

Log-in sadaļā, sākot rakstīt, bilde raustās uz augšu un leju visu laiku. No app iziet nav iespējams. Jāiet speciāli uzstādījumos un jāizslēdz ar ''Force Stop'', jo uz ''back'' komandu nereaģē. Nav arī ''Iziet'' funkcijas šai app.

... lagains webview ... trūkstoša funkcionalitāte ... atver browser'i mēģinot lietot nozīmīgāku funkcionalitāti ... šai app ir maz atšķirību no brower'u bookmarks

Overall quite ok app, design is nice, a lot of info available. But biggest problems are: 1. logs out every time I exit app. maybe this isn't the worst thing but frustraiting, very frustrating. And with that not being informed of notifications just because it logged out. Then there is no real point of having the app. 2. Can't answer messages from ortuss. What's the point in logging in if it redirects me to browser where I have to log in again. This is the biggest problem. If that would be fixed, this would be great app.
