Cognitive Diary CBT Self-Help for Android
I started this about 3 weeks ago. At first, I was skeptical, but my counselor recommended that I stick with it. When I first started it, I didn't know how to get myself out of a negative slump. Now, when the negative feelings come on, I do my CBT journaling and the process helps me work through the negative and come out with a hopeful, more positive solution. Thank you so much!
I have only used this for 2 days, including skimming some articles it contains. However, it has already opened my eyes to things I do, even more than years of talk therapy. Thank you.
It has everything I need to keep a anxiety diary. Very basic
I had this app in my past on another fone. After installing, I was surprised to note so many spelling/grammar errors, glitches where I have to go to diary menu to get back into current entry, and other problems. Wouldn't recommend this app for self-help at all.
This app has literally changed how I look at life. It is hours of counseling in an app...for free!
This app is helping my moods in a way journaling couldn't. It is as important as my meds now because it's teaching me effective coping skills. The ad's are unobtrusive and the app is easy to learn.
Very simple design, but it's just what I needed. I love the articles and the positive affirmations that the app comes with. You can even add your own. Simple, but effective.
Only used the diary twice but so far so good. The articles are useful.
First impressions...The ads are SUPER distracting and annoying.
Very helpful and robust. Constructively examines causes behind how to handles life's challenges.
Wonderful app, this app nailed me. EXCELLENT. Everything it stated was correctly about me.
great app that lessons your anxiety using real time cbt techniques.
Adding more permissions. Will NOT update.
It never left the 2 screens, couldn't get it to do anything
One of the better apps I've found for self help therapy.
So far, so good. Worth a download and a shot.
Helps me be mindful and present.
Great ideas.
Fantastic app
Luv it
I was never aware of any kind of CBT apps until my Psychologist I began seeing recently recommended this app. I input my data ever hour on the hour until around 8pm when I then go to bed. I really like how I can add thoughts, emotions, etc. instead of relying on the default mode. I use MS Excel on all my desktops and laptops however I use Google Docs when I use an Android device. I really love how I can give my Psychologist every input on this app on every visit.
I really like it. I have only used it for 2 entries so far but it has helped tremendously. I know when my thinking is wrong but I do not always think of why it is wrong or what thoughts to replace the wrong thought with. This is very helpful with a large selection of options and places to enter personalized statements.
The articles on this application are excellent. Its very informative and helpful for those who live with anxiety and depression. It helps us to identify our irrational ways of thinking and helps how to tackle them by replacing them with rational positive thoughts. I would recommend it to anyone who obsessed with irrational fears and automatic negative thoughts (ANTs). At least it lets them know what makes them different and why this happens. Thank you for sharing this much information!! gbu guyzz.. :)
Helps me to look at my negative thoughts and help me to see the "ways" I need to rethink and gives me tools to use and at my own self, suggest a positive way to help myself and it's totally safe with a password to keep it private! I'm so glad I found this resource, Awesome!
Been using this app for a week and I really like it so far. I feel like I'm learning the skills to interrupt and challenge my negative thought patterns. A couple of suggestions: it can be difficult to complete new entries (a couple of times I've not been able to easily see how to finish them off); the toggle to "remove title from app name on home screen" isn't working for me; the format and layout could be softened so its not so square and unforgiving! All minor issues and a valuable app nonetheless.
If only I'd thought of this!!! So helpful to people like myself, who suffer from any Meath condition or anxiety... Well done. I agree... 100 stars ✨ is jot enough here.. Totally invaluable.
This app has been really helpful for my anxiety. I find it's easier to keep track of my thoughts here than when I physically write them down in a journal. However, the user interface is a bit ugly. That's my only complaint. The ads are annoying too, but that's only on the free version.
Gosh, if I could give this 100 stars I would! I'm a success coach, author and speaker and I use this little app every day. It's saved me so many minutes, hours and days of worry, not to mention energy that would've been wasted on anger, fear, sadness or rage that were based on faulty thinking. I highly, highly recommend! Thank you so much to everyone who contributed to this awesome app!

If you cant afford therapy this apps for you or if you just want to improve life
A lot of times Ill be in my head in a situation and when I take time and space here to figure it out, some lesson or silver lining appears. I really feel like Im going to bed with an empty slate. Im much more organized here in talking about my worries or anxieties than the free-form forum of therapy, where I often feel like Im talking and not making a point.
It was so motivating for adding positive self talk. It has a lot of helpful wording and allows you to add your own, to personalize it. I start CBT with a therapist in January and this app really confirmed that it will help, when I at first didn't feel motivated to try it. CBT, and this app, are very helpful tools. Thank you.
As a therapist I advice my patients to work with theirselves more and find their on way to fight. One of the main factors differentiating humans from other animals is the awareness of self: the ability to form an identity and then attach a value to it. When you fight you fight and win there are no words to describe the feeling. No doubt that you need some help, so try the program start and after go to therapy.
I am experienced in CBT and thought diaries therefore found this really easy and helpful to use. People new to CBT might need some guidance. My only complaint is that I prefer the term unhelpful beliefs rather than the term used in the app of irrational beliefs .
This app is very well designed. Excellent and extremely useful to help get you through each day!
This has helped me a lot. Used to obsess about what other people were thinking about me and about how terrible I was sure everything was. Now when I find my thoughts headed in that direction I use this app and I am able to calm down and stop obsessing so much. It's also been nice to be able to customize it.
I used to practice CBT before I came across this app. Really made journalling so much easier !
Would be great to have someone review my self diagnosis... also, a nicer layout would make it easier to use
It really describe what I was being taught by my therapist. My only request is to make the audio downloable from the app.

It's easier to have something on hand to track a thoughts and turn it around. I almost always have the phone nearby and most of the time can take 5 to use it. Only issue I have is being limited to 6 irrational thoughts but maybe it's for a reason. Also, I do think the graphics could be tidier. I find the colours a bit garish, and can struggle to concentrate. A bit over stimulating. But when I get through to the end of my entry I feel I've got used to it and start to feel better with my situation.
