Heard: Social Content Exchange for Android
Social sharing is so web 2.0 -- Heard is a living, breathing content exchange.
Heard automatically matches content to the best possible audience, whether it's 1 person or 1 million, allowing users to connect without the hassle of friends, followers or searching.
-- Description --
At a party, crowds gather around people who have thought-provoking ideas or a reputation for entertaining stories. The crowds are continuously being formed and dispersed based on who is talking, what is being said and what partygoers are interested in. Heard works the same way; enabling content to find audiences that care, and creators to achieve distribution that matters.
-- How It Works --
Heard does not use friends, followers or personal information to function. Instead, the system uses reputation, performance and feedback signals to continuously and dynamically match content.
-- Identity and Trust --
Our proprietary badging system helps users make trust decisions about content. Heard’s badges are based on securely verified facts about users (e.g. where they work, industry expertise, association memberships). Once verified, users can choose how they are identified on each post or comment by attaching badges and profile info that is relevant to the conversation. Badges are double-blind encrypted so that no one is able to discover the information that was used to obtain the badge, only that is has been verified.

I get better information from YouTube, this app is not needed. How is this even "social media"?
The page is constantly moving itself downward making it impossible to read about the first few stories. That and other apps just do this sort of thing better, and in higher quality.
I click the icon and it opens it, and then after a second it closes.
This sucks
Lots of polish and Work to be done for sure but this is how it starts. Something totally new and better. It is so important to support alternatives to the big social networks.
To slow for me!
Fresh take on social media
I liked it.
So the future of social media is posting things to strangers? How incredibly dull. Don't get me wrong, Facebook is crap too, but I can't see the appeal in this at all.
I liked it.

Best ignore this app for now until they start shipping something serious. I think there's a germ of an idea regarding verified identity perhaps but otherwise it's not worth the time.
