Display Scaling

Sm-n9020a 6.0.1.. do you know what api packages it modifies. I have a lot disabled. Package disabler pro. Even though the preview worked but when It restarted my phone it wasn't noticeable to be 5 so if you can make it as small as a star then 5.

No issues with SafetyNet being disabled either, unlike other posters here. Maybe Google fixed this in the latest version of Google Play services? I ran a SafetyNet test app and my SafetyNet is still intact.

I used this program and even though I went back to standard, i have apps not working correctly like FB message. I even Uninstalled the program and reinstalled and I still have the issues. How do I fix this?

Texts in some apps were being cut off for being too big on the Note 5. This app fixes it.

Worked great on my S7 Edge, though I no longer need it as the menu was enabled recently. Installed this on my Tab S2 just to see what would happen and now it's a big dumb phone.

Just updated my Note 7 and the content scaling option wad removed but this app saved the day!

I have my S7 Edge in a S-View Flip Cover. After installing this app and rebooting, closing the cover triggered the split apps function. Rebooting once more fixed the issue.

I had this issue of fonts getting small everytime i shifted to power saving mode. Probably a bug but this app fixed my issue. Thanks devs!

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge I love the app, but in condemned mode videos and images are cut off on multiple apps

Everything were great on my S6 Active but the camera has black gap from the edge of the screen please fix that

On my S7 Active after I confirm reboot I am prompted that Settings has crashed. Even tried manual reboot and no scaling.

Apex or any launcher that allows you to resize icons does essentially the same thing

This menu is actually already available on later model galaxies it is hidden by default I've accessed this by using a shortcut with Nova Launcher however this app simply is a shortcut to that menu which is why some people like with Galaxy Note 5 may not notice a difference but I give it 5 stars because it's incredibly simple

Now I can't get the correct DPI back! Please help!

This app broke my phone, not even factory resetting would fix it. Everything on screen was large and I couldn't even enter my password.

It overrides the build.prop dpi setting forever, even after you uninstall it (it changes the wm density parameter and you have to use that from then on instead). Also the condensed setting is the default on the note 5 and edge+ so it's useless for those models.

Works perfectly and greatly improves the usability of the screen by slightly reducing oversize UI elements. This is apparently a built-in function that Samsung has made hard to access. This app gets around that without any fuss.

Does what it needs to but this method breaks android pay and other Google SafetyNet API apps. I believe this is because of the method Samsung uses for dpi changes and probably why it is hidden.

If I reset it to normal instead of compressed some apps seem to act a bit odd. Also will using compressed mode use extra battery? And is compressed mode actually 2k? And can it harm my phone leaving it in compressed mode?

Not sure why Samsung didn't just put this into the settings.

Vastly improves the amount of content on the screen and works without the nova launcher trick

I was using a Note 5 and I loved the DPI density giving you more elements/content on your screen. However the GS7 Edge has a lower DPI and makes your screen feel small. This app brought that same scaling to my Edge. Thank you!
