Evite Invitations & Guest RSVP for Android
STUPID APP! IT WONT ALLOW YOU TO DOWNLOAD THE INVITATION. YOU CAN ONLY SEND A URL LINK TO YOUR GUEST THAT WILL DIRECT THEM TO THIS PIECE OF S%*# APP
I have one complaint, it won't scroll down my invite list. I can only go so far and it stopped before I saw the last person name. I have less than 15 people but I can't see all the invites that have not replied.
I love the Evite website and have for about 10 yrs. However the app need a work. I can't see my entire guest list b/c it just stops mid screen while you're scrolling. Plz fix and I'll reinstall.
Why is there no easy way for guests to add events/invitations to Google/iOS calendar? Seems like a no-brainer... EDIT: Thanks for the response, developers, upgrading my stars.
I love planning parties and evite saves me time and money. I don't have to waste money on invitation cards. Everyone has a phone nowadays so it makes replying easy to invitation easy for the guests. Gives me a good idea of the number of guests to expect. When the party is over we share pictures and i also use this same app to send thank you notes.
There are some much needed improvements in order to make the use of this app worth-while. 1. The administrator should have full anatomy. I cannot find a way back into managing the invitation I made as there is on the site. I cannot simply click manage invitation inside the app to add/remove any person/party/attendee. I have to go to the site in my browser to do so. 2. Administrator should be able to reply for any person/party/attendee invited if they have informed you personally that they will or will not be attending. I don't find anything for that in either site or app. At least you can remove people from the invitation online (unless I am mistaken on that, in which case it should be available). 3. I am unable to see all the attendees in the guest window. I imagine this is a fairly easy fix for the administrators. 4. App should allow to add an event to one's calendar for both planner and attendee. As is, this app is just ok or less than ok, really. It isn't great or fun to use. I actually find it frustrating and it is taking up space on my phone so I think I will remove it until such a time as these functions are available to use. The second function I suggested isn't available to use in any form but I think it should be and it would be very useful. One cannot manage a party/function from one place without these abilities and I believe this is the goal for evite but they are not meeting the simplest of expectations.
It's a bit confusing. There seems to be no way to delete. Editing in general is a mess.
I created my invitation on my desktop and the app lets me keep track of guests. App does not contain ads, unlike the mobile website. Apps works well in Marshmallow on S7. A previous version, which I removed in November 2015, was full of ads and crashed my Moto E.
I haven't even gone pass the sign in screen. Same as another user, I was using evite with my Google login but the app does not allow that option. I do not need multiple login IDs. Won't be using this again.
Can't login to the app using Google account like with the web site. Utterly useless if you can't even get something as simple as authentication to work everywhere.
Can't see entire guest list. It just stops scrolling in the middle of the list.
Can't login with my google account, the one I used with the web version. So, can't really comment on the features.
My account is registered through Google. Unfortunately, I cannot log in because there is no LOG IN WITH GOOGLE button on this app. Why not?
Web version is not bad. App will not let me scroll through entire list of invitees.
Signed up with google log in online. Now there's literally no option to log in with google in the app. DOA uninstalled.
Can't adjust event time despite app update...
It's not often an app works significantly worse than the website. The interfaces are clunky when trying to manage multiple events. When receiving an invite you have ro go to the website and login before it turns up in the app. The app also doesn't have notifications but sends an email every time something happens, which directs you back to the website. The app has to be cleared from memory everytime or it crashes when you try to open it. So I'm left wondering what the point of having the app is.
This app is ok for looking at guests, creating an initial invite and sending it to contacts. It doesn't have a way to communicate with people who have already been invited, which the web site does. The needs to be a few more communication settings and options.
I haven't used Evite everrrr. My first attempt was on the website , and it works well , but the app... I wish it was better. It's extremely slow responding to anything you do, and freezes quite often. It even crashes! I'm on a brand new phone and no other app is this slow. If it was more responsive and worked , I would give it a higher rating, but until then.. only 2 stars
Didn't work at all. I was super frustrated!
I have used the online version of evite and it works well. So I thought I would try the app for a quick invitation. I have tried twice but after entering all the invite information, I cannot add guests. There's a popup that says ' Sorry we are unable to send the evite at this time.
The main website doesnt work well with my Samsung s7 edge phone so in order to view invitations properly I HAVE to download the app, like almost every website out there these days. Annoying! While the app appears to work well with basic invitation management and looks very pretty, my biggest problem is ADS! There is nothing I hate more than having to navigate through ads before I'm able to find what Im looking for. Ads are so frustrating for me, they have taken over the Internet, apps, etc. I would spend money to avoid apps altogether.
Way too glitchy. Unenjoyable to use. Makes me grumpy.
I gave it a 5 cause it's free and works great
Waste of a download. I like the website; I have no use for the app. Aside from whatever issues other users seem to be having, it's a MOBILE app that you A. cannot text to your phone contacts (and don't try to give me "you can Email to SMS", no one has the "email" version of all their phone contacts and no one has the time or care to create such a list) and B. it doesn't even give you an option to copy the shareable link to text your contacts.
It's quite easy to use. But when I try to update the name of a guest, the app jus stops abruptly. It happened several times. Please add a fix for this.
This app is very useless. You cannot access info on cancelled events, even see the details, comments, etc.
App doesn't work when you start to add contacts from the phone.
Not all functionality is available via the mobile app. For instance, the poll and what to bring functionality. For something people would be checking on their phone, i feel this would be required. Otherwise why even bother to create them to begin with. Also, you can only do one poll. This was disappointing as i could not do a simple "Do you want Traditional or boneless wings" and then do another poll for "what wing sauce do you want" and "do you want hot, medium, or mild".
I spent a lot of time making the perfect invitation and saved it on the app so I could gather my email list. When I opened the app again, it was gone, it didn't even show up on the website either. I was very disappointed.
Not all features available on android. My friends with Apple can share the evite via text. I can't do this with my Android. Would be convenient so I don't have to collect email addresses from everyone. Why have something available for iPhone but not android? And if I select my own photo, it looks great on a desktop but the photo doesn't even appear on the app
Party comes up blank for me. Can't see any details about the event.
The only templates it let's you use are ones that do not allow you to include a photo.
App is Not very useful without the 'what to bring' option.
Far too many templates unavailable for use..waste of time
This app will not let me create an event.
It's so easy to use and it being free is icing on the cake!
Add more features that are standard on the desktop website.
Horrible! Used to be a great app. Now it is a disaster. Half of the options just disappeared. You can only RSVP for adults (what about kids?). There is no option to add the event to a calendar - I have to go through regular website to do so, or do so manually. So inefficient. Bad bad bad!

I made my login and invite through the website, but figured the app would be a better way to manage it. The problem is, I "signed in with google" on the website for my login, but on the app it only let's you sign in through Facebook or if you've manually created an account with your email. I literally don't have an option for logging in. They should have the same log in options on the app, it's completely worthless otherwise.
